Stan was amazing. He saved our road trip, and van, when he replaced the water pump at short notice, for a very reasonable price. Top garage, top garage. Would use regularly if we didn't live on the Isle of Wight 😅

Great service from Stan and Caroline. Gear box serviced when regular garage said they couldn't look at automatic gearbox. Picked up few faults that had been previously missed by other garage or ignored! Car ready on time,definitely using again for future MOT and servicing

Highly recommend this garage. Stan and Caroline are so helpful and down to earth. Had my mot done here this year and most recently my car serviced. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Absolutely joke.. just bewilders me how this place is still running, 25 years of experience if it's true, as states on website ? these clowns were trying to have me on for sub frame and lower arm with antiroll bar for £1500....YES YOU GOT THAT RIGHT !!!... ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS ????... LOL
not sure if was made out of 24 carat gold or something. Garage down the road charged me £150 labour for FITTING ONLY and part cost. SUBFRAME (£60) lower arm each was (£50 EACH) and anti-roll bar was (£12 each) total job costed me max £300. COULDN'T AND WOULDN'T EVEN PRICE MATCH.... with recovery. word of advice TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE.....
Responding to Review. Please note that it took them 4 months to decide to make this story up. I mean my 5-year-old could have come up with what they've come up with the same excuse.... it's as accurate you can get. No one has asked us to remove the review and to be honest, we were threatened and was told he was going to come down to Bolton there bunch of incompetents. I hope they realise you can only get away
with so much BS ! so again, be advised PLEASE SHOP ELSE WHERE OR BE PREPARED TO RIPPED OF BY STAN.

My car has been repaired at S1 twice now and I could not be happier with the service I have received from Stan and Caroline. S1 is not my local garage but well worth the journey!

Stan and Caroline are a credit to their business. So friendly and knowledgeable after my car failed it's MOT and they called me when they said they would to give me an idea of what it would cost to repair. A few days later it was repaired, MOT'd and back on the road. I felt throughout the process that they cared about me as a disabled customer and looked after me and my car extremely well. Thank you. It's always difficult to get a mechanic you can trust.
