Took car to them to check as I had noticed oil on drive. Steve put on ramp and immediately discovered it was the cam shaft seal had gone.
Advised to leave car and was driven home. The job was done and they even dropped the car off when finished. This is what you call first class Customer Service and it was the first time I had been to the garage as it was recommended
and I would certainly do the same. Not only was the job done but it was at a very competative price. This certainly won't be the last visit .What a great family firm

Below average experience here wouldn't recommend if you want a car that works. There not interested inthe person spending a1000 there only interested in higher end people .

Steve and his team have so far this year MOTed all of my vehicles, and fixed all the emergencies on my (new to me) van, keeping me running everytime. I cannot fault them. Honest, reliable and in my opinion very experienced mechanics.

As an aside - When i first found SMR I had been going through recommendations from friends and such in the local area for a mechanic. I have a "problem" car that has been to 3 different mechanics, and Steve's team (the 4th garage) had diagnosed it within hours and given me a frank opinion. Thats all i ask, so thanks Steve.
