I have recently moved to the area and registered with the surgery. I had only online consultation with my GP, which was good, so I guess it is administrative/ reception area that needs big improvement and reading other reviews.

Their online services were not working for 2 weeks to request my repeat prescription, so I went to pharmacy as they can do it through their system. Twice it didn't come through (been explained by pharmacist that GP practice is not signing off). Finally made request online, received message to confirm that it will be there in 2 working days. It wasn't. Rang the surgery, after 25 minutes on the phone been assured and promised that this time it definitely ready. Guess what? Went to pharmacy it wasn't!!! Drove to surgery just to be told that something was wrong in the settings and receptionist gave me a paper copy of prescription!
Not even a simple "I do apologise " "sorry for that" or anything. Felt like she is making me a massive favour and somehow I felt like "inconvenience " to her.

Funny thing is , it is anxiety treatment I was after 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This used to be an excellent doctor's surgery but it's all gone downhill since eConsult was introduced. You no longer know who you're seeing, prescriptions get forgotten about and there's no way of rescheduling appointments.

Perhaps that doesn't effect the majority of people, but it certainly effects the people most in need of care.

Recently ordering repeat prescriptions is an absolute nightmare. I have been a patient here all of my life and I am now 56. I am a diabetic with end stage renal failure and getting my regular medicines has never been an issue. But Over the last six months my prescriptions have been wrong, not issued or for completely different items that I have asked for. And today I have received a phone call asking about information for a prescription I submitted by email on the 10/08/22. Also I have just started using the Libre 2 Freestyle glucose sensors but the script that I put in over a week ago has still not been done. My current sensor runs out tomorrow! Very disappointed with the service after all these years of trouble free ordering.

Turned up 2 minutes late for an appointment for flu vaccine for my son (newborn in tow). They directed me to sign in to the digital screen which wasn't working. By the time we finished trying unsuccessfully to sign in they said we were too late for the appointment. Receptionist was really rude, definitely in the wrong job. It's a shame as I have normally found this surgery to be understanding and friendly. I understand being late is not helpful for medical professionals however I feel 2 minutes is something that could be considered to be acceptable with a toddler and newborn.

I’ve been using this surgery since 2002. Dr Mutlow was my first doctor, he left around 2012, and Dr Hall has been my doctor since then. I’ve always been happy to be here and there’s never been an issue being ‘seen’ to - and by being seen to - I mean either in person, by telephone or online. Given that our health service is free, or in the case of prescriptions, heavily subsidised, I don’t really have anything to complain about. Since COVID, it has been more of an online/telephone consult kind of relationship, but the important thing is that I have continued to be treated for whatever ailment, imagined or otherwise, was bothering me at the time.

Thank you!

Mixed feelings. The care is excellent however the e-consult is clumsy and difficult even for the IT literate so therefore I fear for those that are not so savvy in either IT or how to manipulate the system so that it does not throw you out at the end of an effort to describe symptoms, situation and include photographs. The care from the Leckhampton team is however, as said above, excellent. Modern times I guess.

I've been in the phone queue for over an hour, when you get to the front the line just rings out and no one answers. This has happened multiples times over the last week. My online registration hasn't been set up either. Whilst I am sympathetic to the practice being short staffed, you need to sort out your answering system if you haven't got enough people available to answer the phones. I can only imagine how an older person must feel trying to get hold of the surgery for help.

I’ve been waiting to be contacted back for an urgent appointment. I have not been contacted. I have two days worth of pills left. The surgery knew I was running out when I called them almost two weeks ago.
