Absolute joke of a doctors. On hold for and hour and 45 minutes to be told there’s no appointments and no prebookable appointments. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for weeks. On a separate occasion I rang with my crying 8 week old baby to be told there was no appointments and even though 111 had referred me back to them and that he needed to be seen in an hour, took 45 minutes to get through to only be told they’d ring me back once they’d spoke to a doctor. 3 hours later they ring me back and say a doctor will ring me in the afternoon. 7 hours after my call with 111. Sort it out.
Your trapped being in the Ashford partnership as all the doctors are part of it but they are awful

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ,HOW IS THIS THE MOST RECOMMENDED SURGERY?????,HAVE THEY NOT ACTUALLY READ THE REVIEW'S .Recently had severed between my thumb and finger,right to tendons,called into surgery,told they were on training,i'd have go to A/E, so I spent 6 hour's there ,to have 7 stitches,they told me to then have them out at my Dr's Surgery in a week,2 day's later,I recieve a text from my Dr's Surgery ,due to staff sickness, they cannot take my stitches out, i'd have to go back to A/E..They hadn't even had the decency to phone me .This is why poor A/E is so stretched because this Surgery does not see patient's and as far as I'm concerned, hasn't been running a proper Surgery since before Covid Pandemic,it's appalling ,and yet they are still taking on new patient's .This Surgery need's to be seriously sort itself out .We as patient's are entitled to be able to make appointment's ,when needed ,and not be told constantly about staff sickness on the telephone, or text message's ,why we cannot be seen.
WHY DOE'S THE PRACTICE MANAGER ,NOT REPLY TO THE REVIEW'S,WITH SOME SORT OF EXPLANATION OR REASSURANCE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO RECRUIT MORE STAFF ETC,AND IMPROVE THE SERVICE ,WE ARE SO DESPERATELY IN NEED OF .

The new phone system is slightly better.
Edit post September:
- Good to see a new machine for patient bp check before appointment.
- A for effort! For including multilingual staff able to handle situations calmly. A patient infront of me had was being calmly instructed during his enquiry and it looked like there was a professional behind reception desk.

Impossible to get an appointment, you have to call the same day at 8 but the line is collapse, a bit later after 50 min on the phone, no more appointments available it's crazy

Dentist - I had an appointment for my daughter on 6th December 2022 which we couldn't make it , I called many times to cancel but no-one picked up the phone , anyhow I booked an another appointment for today 31.01.2023 at 11.10 . I was there on time , letting the reception know and waited , waited, waited,
after 50 minutes of waiting for my daughter to be seen I go back to the reception and tell her that is been almost 1hr or waiting... she goes inside to the doctor, she comes back and she's telling me that the doctor she doesn't want to see my daughter because we didn't show up at the previous appointment , I've explain the reason. In the end she did see her because she was in pain ,without giving her anything or do anything ,advise : painkillers ,which she already takes, and booked another appointment for February. 2023. Now I'm wondering...how is that fair? We've been waiting 50 minutes just to be kicked out?
My daughter skip school 1 days to be seen by a doctor who can do something about her pain , why they do the appointment in the first place if that doctor didn't want to see my daughter? How comes she can refuse a child who is in pain and desperate needs her help ? Because what? What my child have ? Or haven't? That was very rude and inappropriate coming from an doctor.
At least if she said from the first place when we booked that she don't want to see her, we would look around for other practice .
