Wandsworth Medical Centre

We as a family have been registered at Wandsworth Medical center since 2009 and want to say a very big thank you for looking after all of us ( mom and dad and brother and kids and partners ) The doctors are caring and always go that extra mile and just want to give them all praise to the reception staff who have a tough job on their hands but manage to carry on! I would highly recommend this surgery ! They are the best
There is not enough praise at the moment in the NHS, so here is a big clap for all at Wandsworth Medical center, you ALL are amazing and we are in awe of you all. THANK YOU

Terrible surgery, bursting at the seems, can’t cope with what they have got but still registering new patients! Their management should use the money that they get from the Government for each patient towards recruiting more doctors and providing more appointments for seriously ill people instead of lining their own pockets

I was able to book an appointment for 2 days time for which was quite an alarming ailment. I was then seen by Dr G Turner who was brilliant. He had a very calm nature, sense of humour and dealt with the issue efficiently. Highly recommend.

I would give zero star if I could . I have been very I’ll with a sore throat and cough for 5-6 weeks and they prescribed me a nasal spray containing corticosteroids. I have no symptoms of sinusitis but they think it is , without any tests or swabs. I’m told to wait and suffer yet another week before I’m given antibiotics , do you want me to get septicaemia so you prescribe the antibiotics ????? Terrible doctor no knowledge whatsoever , Terrible service , waste of time .

This practice has never failed me . I can always get a telephone consultation on the day and an appointment out of that consultation, later on in the day if necessary. It is clean. Doctors are thorough. I highly rate this practice.

They do not pick up the calls at all !!! After 4 days of trying to contact them, spending over 1 hour daily on the phone, waiting to be connected, I was forced to go the practice to make an appointment in person. Whilst there, I saw their phone flashing, indicating that someone is calling them but nobody bothered to pick up. It was on silent like they did not wanted to hear it ringing. So I decided to call their number whilst at their reception desk. The automated message I heard was, that I am in the queue of more that 30 !!! callers. How strange, the receptionists were sitting and doing nothing at that moment. That is their attitude towards the patients. Although their doctors are OK, I seriously consider changing the practice to one, where reception management actually cares of their patients. Be aware, if you seriously need an appointment you will have to go there, because making an appointment over the phone is impossible.

I am not the person to write reviews but the experience that I have from this practice made me feel to write one their doctors are good but their receptionist are all very rude over the phone they aren’t even listen to you properly just Ignore you and cut off the phone .after waiting for the hours to book an appointment they just ask and cut off the phone many times this happened to me. I don’t know why the practice manager hire them. they don’t know how to behave with patients.

Got a same day appointment which was handy/needed. I was given antibiotics but my appointment was with an unfriendly stand off ish lady doctor. She was sarcastic and blunt and made me feel stupid. Would go back but only if completely necessary.
