I have had a wonderful experience with Fulham Medical Centre after being referred from a family friend, who has been visiting this surgery for years.

I am very happy with the doctors that I have seen and the receptionists have been very kind and will always endeavour so alleviate and sort out any queries and concerns I may have.

I am very satisfied to say the least

I have been a patient at this practice for nearly twenty years. The doctors have always provided a high standard of care, interacting with local hospitals for specialist stuff and always reacting with a good humoured and commons sense approach. Likewise, the nurses and receptionists. I am not a fan of the appointment system, where one has to hold on for hours and sometime to no avail. But that is the NHS for you and the same or often much worse elsewhere.

The most appalling GP surgery, that allows its reception staff to be abusive to patients. For years at this surgery I have had to endure rude and abrasive staff, as well as disinterested and dismissive gps, and have avoided seeking medical help as much as humanly possible just to avoid them. Today I had the awful misfortune of speaking with a receptionist who literally shouted aggressively at me down the phone and gleefully declared that she had me on loud speaker for everyone to hear. This is a serious violation of privacy and surely illegal. My identity, medical issues and personal information would have been publicly heard by staff and people/patients in the open reception/waiting area. She did this deliberately to humiliate and bully me. I have no doubt that she will get away with this behaviour, as it seems normal and acceptable to the management and partners at the surgery for such treatment and service. They allow it to happen, seemingly influencing each other’s attitudes against patients, and it seems to be getting worse. I am beyond upset and shaken, but know that I am not alone in experiencing this as I have witnessed this type of behaviour towards other patients, including bullying, berating and gossiping within clear earshot of others. This surgery is truly awful and I have raised a complaint with the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. I advise others who have had bad experiences to do the same, as we don’t deserve to be treated so poorly. The Surgery has to be held to account and made to protect their patients well-being and privacy. I cannot take any more abuse and mistreatment from the staff or dismissiveness from certain gps and intend on finding another surgery before my health continues to suffer at their hands.

I do not leave reviews ever but in health and in times of need for a parent I must to maybe to help change what is clear needs to be changed & addressed!! I must say I have always spoken to lovely receptionists but it sounds like there must be one that shouldn’t be there better to use names sorry I don’t have the names. When my mother was dying they where so helpful and I would have given full stars plus but in general the appointments situation is the worst there could be especially after Covid this service is from the Goverment and for the people it isn’t working! Clearly needs to be addressed I will be writing to the local MP and who ever else needs to know of this for the people that need this service. I don’t who decides that this is the way it should be done in regards to getting an appointment but it’s wrong there are people almost 80 old and I’ll tired and have little strength to get up and call and depress more so having lost their partner of 50 years and no will to live feeling I’ll and to go through that to call like that it’s appalling and unacceptable to think otherwise for our elderly that can’t always do things for themselves or have children abroad to call and call and be on hold to get a parents appointment and be on hold costing all that money at ungodly hours is unacceptable I don’t know who is responsible or should be held accountable I will find out and try and change it for the elderly alone to help them if they don’t have family to help them, but it is the worst I have experienced anywhere in the world private and not! And we the people accept it maybe because we are all busy and don’t know the route to make a change but it is by far the worst and for it to have gone on this long and they and the doctors knowing and not making the change as good as the reviews are on doctors it is at there fault also to accept that in there practice! As for having smart access I cannot even do that as it doesn’t work abroad and my father is to old to do that is unacceptable also!! It’s outrageous. 😡🤯

They don't even read the blood tests, and insisted that I was fine, despite the evidence. Glad I find a pharmacist who was able to read my blood tests, and giving helpful advice. This place is exactly literally that, a General practice.

Refused to let me sign up as a patient without proof of address, despite it being illegal. Receptionist insists that the law has changed, but funny enough I can't find a SINGLE mention of that being the case.

Seems as though they're just extremely lazy. I have no choice but to go out of pocket, despite paying into the NHS for over a decade.

Try Sands End instead, they seem much more professional than these bellends.

Genuinely one of the best practices I have come across in a while. A big thank you to reena for always going above and beyond and being so sweet and helpful. The surgery is lucky to have you.

This surgery does not get enough appreciation for the hard work of all staff and doctors. This is their job , just like anyone else you never want to be abused everyday at work.

There is always a way of seeing or speaking to someone. People don’t like it when they don’t get their way and the surgery goes down for it. I have been in that waiting room myself with my children and the abuse and lack of respect staff experience is disgusting. I can’t imagine how much of it they get every day , there’s only so much you can handle.

If people think this surgery is bad , other surgeries will shock you.

Given the huge pressure GPs are currently under The Fulham Medical Centre, in my personal experience, has been really excellent on every front
So thank you!
