One of the worst GPs in the country. Refuses to give my friend a medical note that is required by her university to return to her studies due to liability concerns. What sort of medical centre stops someone from graduating when they've diagnosed her as fit and able? A poor representation of our national healthcare and deserves to be closed down permanently due to incompetence. Would not recommend registering here, if I could give zero stars I would.

I had the worst experience in my life with Doctor Alford poor communication don’t let me talk and explain my self about my issue he shout me down like he knows everything he didn’t help me at all I meet him on Friday for a problem he said that he is gonna send me my certificate by phone and he forgets .I have to call today Monday the 12 September 2022 for remind him about my certificate after that he send me the certificate with not enough day like we agreed previously to complete my cure of antibiotics. and he put my personal private life on the certificate and I tell him multiple time that I didn’t agree to share my personal life with my work because this is violation of my privacy . so I call the desk mention that doctor Alford got wrong the certificate because first the reason that he put is private and I don’t agree. also all the other doctor put something different from him because they understand and respect my situation.so I ask gently if he could change the reason on the certificate and if he can give me some extra day to complete the cycle of my medication and he refuse to give me the day that I need to heal myself.also he said he will no change my private health situation on the certificate because he think is appropriate to put my private life on the certificate I got message to prove it. I didn’t have other choice to come myself to the gp take another appointment with another doctors and I specified that any time I will use morden medical Centre I don’t wanna see doctor Alford for the rest of my life I feel that the relationship between patients and doctors shouldn’t be like this when some uk citizens pay his tax for more the 10 years for the nhs and the government the least he could have is some good health service form his country especially when my heath situation is serious I hope doctors Alford will change his behaviour and he will try help more the people that will meet with him. I though my problem was fix after they give me another appointment at 16:00 but now they just call me and after all this that I been trough they cancel again my appointment I just call them again and i am waiting to see if they will sort my problem

Laura Barry social prescriber was a legend. I suffer from depression and anxiety, She helped me by giving me sound advice, & she followed up a call later in the week to see how I was coping, Cannot praise her enough.
Thank you so much for your support 👍

I have been registered with this surgery for past 7 years. I can't just explain how incompetent the admin and support staff are. Only 3 of them are really nice, helpful and the main reason I lasted there so long. They claim to provide online services but really not much happens online. They work towards reducing their services towards non human contact with little success. They employ certain individuals whom due to their age barriers they can't communicate and are very slow to respond. They diverge your questions, don't answer when you ask them where is my test order, or my prescription. They misplace prescriptions and don't understand the meaning of emergency; I don't know how they can claim to be an NHS staff. The idea of nhs staff being caring, understanding loses its stand at this surgery. I really think they should revise who they employ as admin and office manager. One should see how they speak to patients first. Then judge patients reactions. No wonder Nhs is crumbling. I have on numerous occasions seen first hand how they talk or speak to desperately vunerable people. It gives them joy to feel in power and belittle people. And when you react they are quick to put you on the naughty step. There should be a rotten tomatoe Competition surgery, Morden Hall medical will trump it. Awful surgery; please keep your dignity and go elsewhere to feel healthy, and to be able to have a normal life without being belittled by these petty people.

Admin staff- extremely rude, abrupt, they easily misplace prescriptions, doctor's notes, referrals and test results from consultants. They don't bother to call you back to help with test results. Most have a sub zero work ethics. Recently they have brought in a couple of admin guy and lady. Whom are work conscious. As for the rest you have to pray before you talk to them and have a ring of garlic around your neck.

Doctor's team: I can name 2 or 3 whom go beyond their duty of care in my opinion. I could see past the admin to get an appointment with them.

Majority are the worst doctors and exretemely need to go back to their medical training. And you don't want to be dealing with that majority. They just make you worse and there is a lot desired about their patient doctor rapport and how they treat you. They accuse you of being impolite and aggressive - an excessive state of hypocrisy. The practice manager is non existent.

They hang up the phone on you and communication is so difficult for them. I wonder if someone has ever shown them a recording of how they interact, their demeanour and tone of voice with patients. Unprofessional , petty and disgraceful. After so many years putting up with this abuse when you answer them back they remove you from the register. In my opinion, find another surgery to go to if you value your health sanity and dignity. They actually made me so much worse with my medical conditions.
A lot of delays with very little improvements.

I have seen their shortcomings over the years. I have seen so many incidents where their tone of voice addressing patients of certain background or vulnerability less than courteous. They got GOD syndrom. Sign of taking their short comings out on others.

They used to be pretty good a decade or so ago when I first joined but now they have clearly taken on far, far too many patients and only care about the money.

They even have an abusive 'waiting' message which encourages even more people to sign up which horribly offensive when you are number 22 in the queue! They promise to call you back (rather than see you) but frequently don't bother, even when you chase them up.

Most of the receptionists are usually polite but they have a young sounding one who is extremely rude, she once told me when I needs a little advice if i had appendix issue and I quote "there's nobody here that would know anything about that GO TO A&E". How can they employ people like that?

Some of the doctors there are OK or even pretty good but there are several to avoid which gives people a poor opinion of everyone if you get one of the poor ones hense giving the good one a bad name.

Caveat Emptor.

Very bad practice, keep stopping my meds even though I needed one to survive and others just stopped when I've been on them for ages and was asked today why I'm on two types of pain killers . I'm no Doctor but I'm in pain. Useless phone manners and we are above you attitude.
