The doctors are amazing but the reception staff are extremely rude, arrogant and condescending. Its one lady imparticular who is all of the above and extremely unhelpful. She has received many complaints for her blatant rudeness I beleive her name is Anne. I would avoid her at all costs if you don't want your day ruined. The doctors and some of the other staff at reception have been very kind in contrast.

Have never attended this practice without feeling far worse leaving than when I walked in. Therefore rarely consult them, opting o let nature take its course for better or worse. They may prefer to deal with younger adults and children but I and many of my older neighbours feel they simply do not care and just want us out of the room ASAP.

I have been with this practice a number of years and usually I would recommend them but they introduced an online consultation system that is so annoying and unhelpful. It does not allow for proper communication with the doctor and is a waste of time to fill in. There is not enough room to write answers with the full detail of a complaint and I keep having to re-fill out the same form for the same issue. The phone lines are always so busy and when you finally get through the staff can be quite rude. I was told the other day that because I was young I should fill out an online form and not ring. The online system is incredibly impersonal and there is very little chance to have an actual conversation especially if you have multiple issues. I don't understand why I can't just book an appointment to discuss things with an actual human being!

Best practise in Islington - this place has been my local doctor for years and I am always happy with their kind and warm service. The reception ladies are always lovely and helpful. Today I was helped my a lovely nurse Gloria Smith who removed my IUD with ease and grace and offered to do my first smear test at the same time. I’ve seen other doctors for different issues and they have all been compassionate and attentive. Cannot recommend enough.

Today is 15th day of asking for my blood results which have been ready all this time. Still nothing after many phone calls, emails and a personal visit to the practice. On top of another two weeks trying to get the tests referred to somewhere accessible.
The reception staff and the nurse are the rudest -uncaring people I came across.
The doctors once you get hold of them are lovely but its a nerve recking experience trying to access one.

Rudest receptionists ever
My tests have been ready since 2nd but not only she wouldn't disclose them to me despite my going to the reception in person, emailing and calling. I am appalled by the un-caringness of the receptionist at this practice. there is always a huge drama about how busy they are and whenever you go there is literally nobody waiting.. Get real ..but looking at how many people complain about the receptionist rudeness , its not hard to see the practice must be allowing this rudeness.

Poor experience with this GP.
Long wait times at reception, rude receptionists and frequently get disconnected after waiting for 5-10 minutes on hold. After booking a consultation online it took several days to get a call back and the doctor rang while I was in a meeting. On the voicemail it said 'we will only try to call back once more before you need to make a new appointment' and the second call back happened within 15 minutes - while I was in the same meeting.

I have had some positive experiences here too - they have good online services and I have spoken to some helpful people as well to get a repeat prescription sorted out quickly during covid

This is the worst practice I've ever been with. Their systems for getting an appointment are impenetrable, their text service doesn't register when you reply, and the reception staff are largely unhelpful and robotic in their response. It is next to impossible to speak with a doctor let alone see one and receive the care you need. There is also very little follow up.
