My doctors really good but doctor berry can be really rude and like to rush you I saw him about my headache as I was told by nhs to go to doctors my partner made the appointment as we was worry about it and want to be sure that everything was okay. My partner ask him question and he never answer the question and left feel angry. So now when I have appointment we make sure it not with him as I don't like the way he is with me the rest of doctors are lovely kind make u feel comfy and they make u feel like everything going to be okay . The nurse are kind as well

Been with this practise 40 years. Seen most of the drs they have and never had any problems. Appointments are hard to get but they do have extended hours for people who work and find it hard to get there during the day. App pretty straight forward to use for booking . Always helpful and do there best in my opinion .

Just suffer instead, be aware Karens rule the reception here and common sense is non existant even if instructed to do something on spot by other department you'll be told it doesn't work like that, how bad this place is your probably better off dieing without the extra head ache

Where to start? Ring this afternoon for an appointment... they have all gone, ring in the morning.... and round and round in circles. Desperate to get help for my daughter... but couldn't get past an extremely rude receptionist. After a few weeks I rang 111. The paramedic who called back was concerned and told me he had put it through for my doctor to call. If he didn't, I should ring 111 again. No surprise for guessing that I didn't get a phone call and had to ring back. Had to get help elsewhere as I STILL can't get through to a doctor. The receptionist told me, and I quote: we do have 13,000 patients to take care of u know! Well why are u advertising u have places for new patients when u can't even take care of the ones u have???!!!! The doctors are fabulous if u ever get through... just remember u are in position 13,000 in the queue....

The calling system is awful. The old one was better, at least you were put in a queue. Now your call and it says line busy and the call shuts down. Absolutely awful.

I rang to try to get my one year old checked out because he’d been coughing for well over three weeks. The receptionist gave me a telephone consultation in which a doctor rang me back.

Not to my surprise the doctor fobbed us off. This isn’t the first time such an incident has happened. Being a young new mum I tried my best to express my concerns to the health care professional, explaining that when I was trying to give my son store bought medication he was being sick. I’d tried nurofen paracetamol and cough medicine but to no avail. After explaining that this had gone on for 3 weeks plus I’d have thought they’d have given me some advice on the situation. The doctor told me there was nothing they could do and to continue with store bought medication.

My little boy was getting worse as each day went on but I progressed as the per the doctors orders. On Saturday I had to ring 111 in which they referred me to the out of hours GP, we had a couple of telephone assessments which lead to me having to go all the way to Blackburn to get my son checked out.

He has a chest infection that NEEDED antibiotics as I thought on my original phone call to my local doctors. Needless to say the trip to Blackburn wasn’t easy as I do not drive and am a single mother who was worried sick about my one year old little boy. We eventually got the proper diagnosis and he is now recovering.

This could have been sorted last week on my original phone call to my doctors but they failed to listen to my concerns in which made my little boys state even worse.

I will make a formal complaint about this but also thought I’d air my concerns for anyone looking into doctors in our local area.

With not driving and very slim pickings for doctors I find myself stuck with this shambles of a surgery until I can reregister and use a different doctors for both me and my son.

This is an awful surgery and in future I will speak to proper professionals where my son is concerned.
