My parents have been patients here for over 15 years and have refused to move due to the great service they receive here. Quick to respond and very knowledgeable clinicians. Dr Zaidi is their favourite by far, but they are hugely benefiting from new members of the team such as the Clinical Pharmacist Mr Ankit Shah, who has finally managed to convince my father to take his asthma medications properly by being persistent and by going out of his way to ensure a shared care plan was put in place that my dad understood and agreed with.

Thank you all for your continued great work- this goes to all clinical and non-clinical staff at Roxbourne Medical Centre ☺️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This is a terrible surgery. Firstly, I got a text message telling me to ring the practice to book an appointment for my daughter. When I did ring up, it took me an hour to get through to the reception. I spoke to the receptionist and then got cut off so had to wait another hour before I could get through to them. When I did finally speak to them, the receptionist did not know what appointments are available and said she would ring me the next day to book it in. The following day, I waited and waited to call but obviously she did not ring me. So I called her at 5pm, again waited an hour to finally get through! She said that the next available appointment was in 6 weeks time and that there was nothing sooner! When I said I can only do a Monday or Tuesday, somehow an earlier appointment was available, how strange!
On a separate note, I needed a prescription so I got a text message saying that it had been sent to the pharmacy. When I went to the pharmacy, they said that they had not received anything. I contacted the surgery and they said that it will be sent later that day. I went again to the pharmacy and it had not been sent. Finally, after calling the surgery and complaining, I found out that the prescription had not been sent and was just sitting in the practice with the dr. After 2 wasted trips to the pharmacy and a lot of unnecessary to and fro, I finally managed to get my medication. It should definitely not be this much of an ordeal to pick up some medication!
Also, I was being seen by Dr Mirza and then was followed up by Dr Doshi as Dr Mirza was on annual leave. It was clearly evident that she had not read the clinical notes and did not know what was going on. I just received a text message that no further appointment was needed and it was only after I rang up to explain the situation that they understood what was going on. There is a clear lack of communication between the clinicians. I will be complaining to the CCG about this experience.

I have been a patient at this surgery for almost 40 years. The actual protocol for booking appointments is appalling. The PATCHS system is completely flawed. The receptionist hands are tied because of the software that is being used which is by far the worst decision the surgery could have made. Its impossible to book an appointment just to speak to a GP! And even when you manage to process a request the doctor is not reading it correctly and dismisses the request without actually taking 2 minutes to call me to clarify! The reception team themselves appear to share some of the frustrations with the poor functioning systems and protocols. Many thanks to Rishi for actually taking the time to listen to me for a few minutes. Please can the management take time to review the procedures as they are just not working as they are.

Very professional surgery, always happy to help, answer my questions.
Never had an issue with appointment booking by phone, in person or online.
Had quite a few interactions with Rishi at reception recently who is so so lovely and helpful and always has a welcoming smile.

Have been a patient of RMC for over 40 years and have always received a fantastic personable service. Doctors listen & my requests have always been treated with professionalism & good "bedside manner". Recently had my winter jabs by the wonderful Nurse Priyanki - made me feel very comfortable - completely painless!

I wish I could give zero stars, the staff was very unsupportive and always promised that will call me back, I have quit smoking and currently my nicotine symptoms have been worsening and I'm not able to concentrate on my study and work. It was 3 weeks ago I requested a medication after waiting for 2 months in a queue for stop smoking programme by NHS. Currently, Ankit Shah has said that the GP cannot prescribe me medication even though I'm registered with the GP which ultimately says that I should be continuing to smoke. Can you imagine GP surgery promoting smoking for there own benefit? Never seen such selfish people.

3 years when I joined the GP - it was excellent - currently the staff is very lazy and they don't take any issues seriously. Hereby, if I get impacted with my withdrawal condition I would filing a complain for the Head of GP who did not respond me and the staff always promised me that they will get back to me.

I had some challenges with managing a prescription for my Son (4 years old). Unfortunately due to some very restricted processes and a technical issue, my Pharmacist was not able to dispense the medication which was really needed. Paratibha from the surgery staff was very helpful, polite and discussed the issue directly with my Pharmacist to solve the problem.

The nurse Martina did a excellent job. My daughter had 2 vaccines which was really quick and she knew how to distract my child afterwards with stickers. Super polite and honestly the best nurse I have met in the practice. Would recommend requesting her
