I don’t think I have enough words to praise this surgery. The receptionists are all so cheerful and helpful which is rare. Dr Karim was amazing. She was understanding, she listened and was the only doctor to date that’s been willing to help me. Dr Karim knows menopause and all the hardship that comes with it. All I can say is this surgery rocks and I’m so glad I made the move. Thank you with all my heart. I feel
Like I’ve got my life back.

I’ve been with this Doctor’s surgery for 35 years and over the years have always found the doctors and receptionist’s to been polite and friendly and caring.
And now even more so Dr Z Karim has been so understanding, caring , helpful and professional ever time I have seen her and the receptionist’s too are friendly and polite.

To begin with I have a medical declaration that needs to be filled in for the TFL as a pre-employment procedure. So Ive called my GP, which they have been our family practice for many many years. Ive given them a call on Wednesday and Thursday, and two different receptionist have told me the same thing of calling at 8am to possibly get an appointment for this matter. And calling in today at 8am, the receptionist which is someone else tells me with these type of procedures you have to have an arranged appointment which is 2 weeks from now which I agreed too but also asked her to check with the doctor.

Now, I receive a call from them a few hours later. Bare in mind the price given to me was £130, which I said cool to as I had to get this form completed. The receptionist I spoke to earlier tells me, Dr Kosala Perera is fully booked today HOWEVER he is willing to squeeze me in for an extra £70? And when I ask what do you mean? She tells me the Dr Perera gave her a reason of “express service” WOW!

The same doctor thats tried to treat my mother via Amazon purchases to help her pains instead of sending her to a specialist and same doctor who told he has NHS procedures to follow before referring to the hospital.

I have browsed and searched at least 10 other general practices and NOT ONE has a fee for “express service”, it is a non NHS service I have also checked it with the British Medical Association. You can not include such thing as express service whilst telling me you’re fully booked but with extra money you want to extort from me you’re able to do this? What happened to your busy schedule suddenly? What an ethical way to treat your patients.

And, if Dr Perera doesn’t get the chance to read this I will say the same exact things to his face when I see him in 2 weeks time.

As a medical student training here, it's a well-run, safe and professional place of learning. The GPs and nurses are always on hand for guidance with numerous learning opportunities and chances to build up your portfolio. The admin team are fantastically organised which makes situating into the placement a lot easier. Overall, a great place to get an insight into primary care.

I am a UCL medical student and have just completed 6 weeks of placement at Arcadian Gardens practice. Dr Perera and Dr Karim have been great doctors and teachers. I have learnt a lot from my time here and above all have always felt welcome and appreciated by every member of the team. Both Dr Karim and Dr Perera have great patient manner and will always go the extra mile to support their patients. The receptionists, practice managers, nurses and all other members of the team have been approachable and friendly and have made working here a pleasure. I reccomend this practice to all patients as well as medical and allied professionals looking to gain experience in general practice.

I am very disappointed at the service, i have been waiting for my blood test results for over 5 weeks now. Have been contacting you via phone, email and even coming over to speak with reception but to no avail. The receptionists keep telling me that they are chasing the health centre i had my blood test done after recommendation of Dr. Perera but no answer. Every time i contact you i need to explain myself all over again, i would presume if you are emailing the health centre you should have everything in your records? I came by the practice on Monday, 21/11 and the ladies at the reception promised to call the health centre the day after and that would call me back with an update, guess what? 2 days after, NOTHING. This situation is extremely frustrating, stressful and disappointing. Considering the job you are supposed to be doing, empathy and punctuality should be very basic skills, as it affects patients' well-being.

Yes,staff is friendly,but what's the point of the friendly staff if you can't book an appointment. I called a few times for 5 years mainly for my child. I don't need anyone to tell me friendly that my child cannot be seen by doctor.I don't understand that ,you still accept new patients but you can't handle those you already have.I will definitely consider to change the GP soon ,because it feels like I don't really have one.

The best practice I've ever been with.
Both Doctors are very friendly and efficient.
Pedro is super and lovely.
Lisa is great at reception.
I never feel like a number and always have a satisfying experience - happy when I leave.
Also my elderly neighbours love all the staff at this practice.
Telephone correspondence - regular and efficient - thumbs up all round!
Please never leave!
