**Denmark Road Surgery**
Got told 3 different things by 3 different doctors about the same medication, half the time when I ring the surgery I get hung up on without speaking to a staff member or I get put on hold indefinitely. I missed a call 2 weeks ago from the surgery and when I called back there were no notes on my account so I have no idea what that call was about and probably never will. Appointments are usually on time though, and some of the doctors are very friendly and understanding. Others act like they can't wait to get you out of their room.

Awful, awful place. Went there at 7:45 this morning and there was no numbering system at all so it seems the last person to walk in is the first person to be seen if they stand at the desk, fortunately we managed to arrange ourselves into a queue slightly resembling the order we arrived. Got an appointment for 9am and told the GP that I had an operation 3 days ago and needed a prescription of ribbon to pack an open wound at a walk in centre because I had been terribly disappointed with the long waiting times to see the nurse previously, he assured me that the on site nurse could do it today and once I'd seen her, she'd schedule me in everyday for 2 weeks as advised by my surgeon. Headed back to reception to arrange the nurse and was told she was booked up for the next 20+ days and my initial appointment had now ended so would need to rebook to get a prescription. After a quick talk with the guy on reception who I hope was very helpful, he assured me he'd get the pharmacy to call me to arrange a prescription this afternoon... No call yet, I wait in hope rather than expectation. I only go to the doctors when absolutely necessary and in the few occasions I've been over the last couple of years, I have been left more disappointed each time. If you are looking for a local GP, keep looking, this one is not fit for purpose.

I'm a new patient to the practice, after handing in the forms to register as a new patient it took them almost two weeks to put me into the system and for me to be able to book an appointment, majority of reception are extremely rude, hang up the phone before you have finished talking and when I asked why the "my gp" app wasn't working for me as it keeps saying the practice is not registered with the app; the receptionist told me I was talking a load of rubbish and laughed in my face. Iv been with this practice for a week and am looking to move already.

If you want to die sooner register here. If there was an option for 0 stars I would give one. Waited 90 mins for someone to answer and say no appointments available. Ridiculous. If you can't meet the demands of the people then stop taking new registers.

Long waiting time for picking up an appointment. They suggest calling at 8. When you call in the morning on time, you are in line 29. When you finally connect, let you know that today there is no appointment. That you must call again tomorrow at 8:00 am. I called 5 days every morning. Ignorance to patients!

I have been with this surgery since 1989 and my son since 2009.
I can not fault this surgery at all. They’re so patient, kind and considerate.
Would recommend this surgery highly.

This is for the country park practice at the Woodside HC. Called the surgery from 8am as they always advise. Didn’t get to speak with a receptionist until 8.30 am who then said all appointments were gone. I explained I have tried numerous times and she just unapologetically said there was nothing she could do. I hardly go to the GP as I am a health professional myself but you do need them for certain things. There was absolutely no empathy. I have been with them since 2002 but this problem started when the surgery split to two. And I thought going for the country park practice was the better choice. Alas, I was wrong. I will discourage people from registering with them and their reception staff need training. Sometimes I feel like they are the doctors themselves. I am surely de-registering with them.

Woodside Health Centre has been my GP for 24 years. Aside from the odd annoyance, they have been excellent to me, so much so, that I considered the reception staff friends. I am not an easy patient. Don't like tests but the Dr's have rang me regularly, and through Covid to advise of tests needed. I've moved to a small village with one practise and I will miss Woodside and would like to give a heartfelt thanks for all the years you have kept me well.
Fond regards
