Absolutely terrible GP, have not had a single good experience with them. The nurses did a simple swab wrong TWICE in a row, meaning I never actually got the results, and then more recently I have been trying to get a medication review which has been impossible. They couldn’t give me an appointment until after my medication ran out so I had to pay for a new prescription despite wanting to switch medications. Then I was 10 minutes late to my appointment as I was travelling from 35 minutes away and there was traffic and the doctor refused to see me, despite the fact that whenever I have been to the surgery I have had to wait upwards of 10 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Then I got offered a phone appointment from a pharmacist who called me later than my appointment and I couldn’t pick up due to being in the bathroom at that time, and she told me to rebook rather than calling me back. They expect you to be able to pick up at any given time within 2 hours of your appointment. Why can’t you just call me at the time you say you’re going to? Absolute joke. I will be looking for a new GP.

Absolutely horrible service... oh no wait.. NO service! I was misdiagnosed once. And another time not helped properly, just given antibiotic spray twice....still have issues. Now I have another issue that has been ongoing for 3 years. And in this time I have only been able to see "my" gp once in three years (not sure why I call him that as it's impossible to see him). The booking system is completely broken, only a handful of people can book on the same day to get seen by a doctor. This system doesn't work. It's broken. As a result, I am going private to deal with my health problems. Very expensive... but either that or die a slow death waiting for an appointment. Shut this place down and put a carpark here! Will be more useful!
I have no idea where else to go on NHS in this area...but I highly advise people to avoid this place! It's a waste of time.

What a nightmare guys.
You don’t want to give us appointment as my husband is suffering from breathing problems since 2 weeks.
Very pitty of you guys sadly
Just letting down this country of your actions what you’re doing.
Receptionist didn’t wanted to listen what im trying to say and simply said she can’t book him in as its ongoing problem. So i need to book him for routine appointment next week because they don’t have any slots.
And if its urgent we can go to emergency.
Please if you can’t run this practice just close it.

Reception staff go above and beyond to help get appointments booked and discuss issues. I feel whenever I would call my previous drs surgery I was always rushed off the phone and dismissed but the ladies here listen and try and work around certain times and appointments. I called this morning but missed all of the emergency appointments- instead of just telling me to call back in the morning (which I understand is the advice ) one of the kind ladies went above and beyond to check when a medic would be around to discuss the prescription I need and managed to book me in for the following week if I do not manage to get an emergency appointment, Thank you Tina and thank you to the staff for always being so polite, kind and caring.

Been waiting 2 nearly 3 weeks for a blood pressure monitor because I have high blood pressure and they can't treat me until i'v wore this monitor for 24hours and while I'm waiting I start feeling really I'll tried to get an appointment each time I'm told to ring back next day still feeling don't see the point of ringing any they don't seem to be bothered I rang for help and just got blanked got. A message from surgery Monday 21/11 with a message that the nurse who is dealing with my blood pressure if you can call it dealing with it will ring me 28/11 at 2.45 had no call only been waiting since 31/10 to find out how their going to treat me . They don't like it if we miss an appointment but it seems it's alright for them.

I try very hard not to ever write negative reviews however there are times when you feel that the service you get, or don't get, warrants it. A few months ago I had to drop some paperwork to reception for the doctor, for a referral. Reception LOST the paper TWICE times, each time I had to go back and resubmit the paperwork. When the doctor called me and asked why I am wanting to speak to them I told them they should have my paperwork, to which they replied, no we haven't got it. Unbelievable. I don't visit my GP much at all, so booking an appointment is something I do as a last resort. That said the last time I called I was told no appointments available to call back the next day at 0800hrs. I work shifts, calling at a specific time is simply not possible if i'm working. Needless to say I never did get that appointment. I am now trying to call to book an appointment. I am number 1 in the queue and have been for 14 minutes. Is this a joke? I am unable to book online as that feature is currently unavailable. I am well aware how bad Doctors surgery's are suffering at the hand of an incompetent government with years of under funding, however this level of service is simply off the charts poor. Finally got through just now to be told to call back at 0800am tomorrow. Guess what, I;m working so cannot call. No alternative, told to go A&E. I understand the receptionists are simply doing what they are told but COME ON. This is TERRIBLE.

Absolutely useless!! I have moved to the area and tried to get an appointment on severe occasions with no success. I have been text several times to book a screening in. - not able to do this as no appts available and when I was offered a date where I am away no alternative date offered by the receptionist who clearly does not care for the health of any patients.

I also enquired wanting to speak to a GP - was told I have to call at a specific time. I am a health care professional and have my own patients to see, I can not leave them to make a phone call in the middle of the day at a specific time to maybe get an appointment.

I advised the receptionist I will consider moving elsewhere she said that's fine - no complaints procedure offered and no alternatives offered. Awful service.

As an owner of a health care service provider I can honestly say this is shocking and the receptionist had extremely poor health care manners and clearly does not care about the wellbeing of patients. I will be taking this further within the NHS as feel extremely sorry and concerned for patients who have little health care knowledge and will likely not be able to get help even if something serious- as no questions asked to screen for anything that could be life and death to refer to A&E.....very concerning!!

Unbelievable... taken to hospital for suspected heart attack... eventually referred by hospital to chest pain clinic. Long wait for appointment so phoned doctors for a referral via private route. Receptionist acting as doctor, no available phone call until 24th January and no way to speak sooner, asked her to leave a message for the doctor but said no!!! they didn't want to listen....im very scared it's going to happen again before I get tests done...diabolical and rude receptionist.. no further forward ans a long wait just for a phone call.... what are the doctors actually doing????
