The receptionist I have spoken to has dreadful telephone manners and seriously lack any sort of empathy that should be one of the most important requirements at such job. The doctors are genuinely nice and helpful but getting through reception usually isn’t.

This GP service is completely capable of getting its patients killed by torturing them mentally not giving appointments with GP, by not answering phone calls and not answering to online requests thats helpful in any way and for being so rude. The staff here are quite arrogant and lack professional behaviour. 2 years post covid they don't yet provide f2f appointments. If you get a chance to run from these guys I would do so.

Horrible horrible practice.
I kept taking my mother for regular check ups with diabetes nurse and heart check ups and GP itself chosen to have phone conversation regularly. My mother passed away peacefully at home but this horrendous practice did not cooperate and none of the GP signed off her death certificate though coronor officers tried their best as my mother medical reports were very clear and detailed.
Due to GP’s non cooperative behaviour my mother had to go through post mortem to establish it was a natural death. It was all unnecessary and I will never forget and forgive this inhumane practice!

Not very efficient, I was asked to email but could not find email address??? patient access asks for 11th letter of 10 letter password and they’ve taken the further request comments box away, it just goes on and on quite honestly they do come across as very amateurish for what is supposed to be a professional practice, they are hard work

The staff here have a tough time but in the most part against a system not working as it should I think they are, and it is, wonderful.
Have never been neglected when something serious, never not got a prescription in time, never felt that they don't put patient care first

absolutely bloody awful. The reception staff treat people with contempt. to get an appointment with a doctor is hit and miss at best and you have to keep on your toes when the reception deem it within their power to offer you an appointment. I turned up 10 minutes late on a train strike day only to be told the appointment would no longer be offered even though another patient was complaining at the time that his appointment was running over 30 minutes late. I spent £15 on an Uber to get to the surgery when i did as trsins were not running, but reception staff dont give a hoot. Awful service for the residents of Sunbury. I really miss the surgery at Surbition where I used to live that makes the Sunbury health centre seem like its run in a third world country. The Surbiton surgery was so much more professional. If you work for the Sunbury health centre, you should be ashamed!

I understand that the NHS is underfunded and overstretched - but this practice puts more effort into shutting patients out than treating them. They just don't want to help. If you can eventually get them to answer the phone (big if), they bat you back to the poorly designed, only sporadically functional website. Almost comedically unhelpful. If Basil Fawlty ran a medical practice, this would be it.

This has to be one of the most awful health centres, my mum died last September of cancer, when she was diagnosed she was promised care from Dr. Varma in reality we had to fight to get her any care and support and all he could manage at the end was a video call and that was just so we could say she had seen a gp in the previous 28 days. Now my dad is dying of cancer we have struggled to get the correct medication for him and when I arrived at the health centre to get things sorted they were more interested in arguing than getting what he needed, it was hours I spent sorting things out when I should be spending the last remaining hours with him, and the service I have seen others receive is just as bad, this isn’t about money or lack of funds it’s about caring for patients more than trying to cover up mistakes.
