So hard to get an appointment and when you do you wait for ages despite them saying "10 mins per person."

When you DO get to see someone they are usually very polite and efficient. Except Dr. Stern. He hates everyone.

On the 15/07/22 we stood for 25mins outside the dispensary along with several others while the pharmacy staff moved in slow motion.

I don't bother with Minster Surgery any more. DR Stern doesn't care if I live or die.

I just go to Margate A and E and lie to the door nurse....at least I get seen then.

Minster surgery just couldn't care less.

Twice I've had a message to discuss urgent scans. Each time I try I'm told

"there are no appointments...call at 8am"

When I call I'm 25th in line and then told they have all gone.

People are dying due to this surgery's incompetence and mismanagement.

No one cares any longer.

In relation to my care, if I could give this place zero stars, I would. Hard to get appointments, doctors that show little compassion, dangerously wrong misdiagnoses (not just me but many people in the village are complaining of this) - please avoid and try to register at a new practice, if you can. No doubt it's the lack of staff and too much work pressure that is contributing to this but it is what it is - dangerous and risky practice.

I was due to have received a telephone call this morning. 9hrs later I am still waiting despite spending nearly 2hrs on the phone to this surgery.

My parents have been patients of Minster Surgery for 40+ years and have always received both excellent and courteous treatment. The wait time for calls to be answered can be long but you are given the option of a call back service to hold your place in the queue which works perfectly. The receptionists are always charming and go out of their way to help. Well done Minster Surgery!!

Two stars because I feel many of the issues are out of their control (and the nurses are lovely) but having experienced so many issues - some admin, most healthcare - I really, really wish I could easily move to a different practice. I have some extreme concerns but I can’t bring myself to pick up the phone as the whole experience of trying to speak with a GP is so stressful, exacerbating my anxiety. I tried to register with a good practice that would be easier for me to travel to but was told I’m not in their area. Please Minster surgery - make it easier for patients to receive healthcare.

What a shambles! I just spent 35 minutes waiting on the phone to make an appointment. The phone was finally answered and the receptionist tells me the surgery is now close for training!
I ask why they don't put a message on the phone system to save people wasting their time - answer? We just turned the message on!
Asked to make an appointment for tomorrow - no chance as the appointments for tomorrow are not available until tomorrow morning!!!!
When asked who made that decision - Practise manager and GP's....how utterly ridiculous???
