When we call it is because we need help. Just encountered the rudest and most unhelpful receptionist at your offices. Please listen to the recording at 12:43 on 15/9/2022. I was referred to a Chemist who state they do not offer the service and do not understand why I was referred to them. Long story short, the lady states that she does not know how to assist me and that she cannot provide direction because I am not in Nottingham. How's that for assistance?

Seen a few negative reviews on here so here is my opinion;
I have been coming here for over 5 years and personally I think the overall service from receptionist to practice nurses to Dr's is excellent.
They have always been really helpful and friendly, and considering what they have to deal with in a regular basis, extremely efficient
Am just glad I'm registered there

Absolutely disgusting service, can never get through on the phone and when you do appointments are always taken. Took my baby daughter in this morning with a temperature and whole body rash. Despite there only being three people in the waiting room I was sent away and told to come back at 4pm. Currently at A & E where I have been seen swiftly and even the doctors are shocked that I was sent away. If they do not have the capacity to see patients face to face they need to either stop taking them on or hire more doctors. With the exception of the midwife team, Never been a patient at such a poorly managed practice.

Working as a receptionist myself it is almost impossible to get through to the practice, I've had multiple times where I've run out of medication because I cannot get through for a medication review. This is getting absolutely ridiculous, I genuinely feel like they don't care at all, I've repeatedly had to stress how important it is that I don't stop my medication due to severe mental health issues and I take medication that makes me tired so getting up at 8am every morning just to TRY to get through for a review is nearly impossible. It feels like they don't care about their patients at all and I know I'm not the only person that is feeling like this

I have been a patient here for the last 2 years coming up. Before I was with rushcliffe Borough Council (if you think these are bad go with a doctors in ruscliffe.) and I had a serious phobia of going to the doctor's because of bad practise. It took me a very long time to move over to the city and to find a doctors that I relied on. I was a bit hesitant to start off with because of the reviews on Google. However it was the best decision that I have ever made. I understand the other people are unsatisfied with the service however my experience has been completely different and lifted my phobia of going to the doctor's. Sometimes it is hard to get through to the doctor's on the phone but I have been personally sat in the doctors when the receptionists have been there and have been answering the phone consistently for 20-minutes while I wait. I've always been made to feel at ease especially with the receptionist Emily. And as forgetting an appointment the appointment system I think is fantastic. Every doctor's should have this system however they don't. It has given me much more confidence to speak to the doctor about what is wrong with me. And very simple that it is done online. In the 2 years that I have been to the doctors I have been many times and there has only been once where they haven't rang me back that day. The doctors when they do ring me listen to everything I've got to say and deal with the situation promptly. I never write reviews however I believe that this surgery deserves a review in the care that I have received from them in the past 2 years. Would I recommend this surgery yes I would they are fantastic.

I’d really like to thank the two lovely women who helped me today. Ren and Lesley are a complete godsend!! I was having a nightmare with my prescription and they were both really reassuring that they could get me sorted as urgently as possible. I couldn’t thank them enough, especially being alone in a new city as a student can be daunting enough when there’s an issue, so it’s really comforting to have a friendly voice down the phone. They truly are a credit to the team, thank you so much again.

Was with this doctors for a few months and NEVER AGAIN I am very very ill & went to get blood tests today when they told me I’ve been wiped of their system & they chucked my stool sample in the bin AFTER calling me on the day of dropping it off to say IT WILL BE SENT!!!! No care what’s so ever for their patients, I have had food poisoning for an on going 2 months now & after seeing a doctor at radford health care who advised me this is serious and I have concerning lumps in my stomach - I HAVE BEEN WIPED OFF THEIR SYSTEM???? . So upset and disappointed all i need to do is see a doctor but they do not care at all for my general well-being. To throw a patients stool sample in the bin thinking we all don’t work and can pop in whenever we feel like it. Not to mention only being able to call up for an appointment between 8am-9am (for a week straight I couldn’t get through because every morning it was too busy). FINALLY get help and then get thrown away. It’s like the receptionist where happy knowing I would just leave and go somewhere else. Sat outside their doctors in tears on my way to the emergency room to seek help. If I wasn’t just a 19year old girl in a huge contry I’ve only lived in for 1 year I would be suing this doctors.

Every time you put in a message with askmygp the request is immediately closed after the most basic information is provided- normally a link to another website. I’m sure before they’ve even read the full description of what you need assistance with. When ringing Radford medial practice as soon as they hear your a student they don’t care what you have to say and bluntly refer you to askmygp again. Such a disgusting service and definitely not suitable for students who are probably receiving guidance and help from the gp independently for the first time.
