Hollycroft Medical Centre

I have been in the fortunate position over the years where I have very rarely had to see a Doctor, but had to recently (saw Dr Jackson) and the whole experience has been faultless. Telephoned the week before Christmas at 8:00am, seen at 9:40am and by 3pm that afternoon I received a phone call with an appointment to see a specialist 2 days after New Years day!

Trying to make an appointment always takes far too long, that’s if u even get through. Been on hold for 20minutes then it just cuts off. Trying to call again and it’s been 14 minutes, looks like it’s going to cut off again. Reception staff can be rude and expect you to disclose the reason for appointment even when you clearly don’t want to! The only good about this place is Dr Jackson who is kind and helpful. And a nurse I recently dealt with but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name.

Save yourself, worse surgery going , only ever get an appointment if your deemed worthy enough and that’s if you can even get through. I’m still waiting for that phantom phone call back only been 4 weeks

Every time I need an appointment I have been able to get one, and over the years they have always referred me when required very quickly.

Is there really any doctors that are good anymore because I’ve lost all hope in Hinckley’s medical centres. They have phoned my mother saying she has something wrong with one of her blood tests now she’s not very well as it is so this was even more worrying and the doctors only seemed to have pulled their finger out since the hospital found that her liver was not at its best. The day these doctors say they will phone we await the call to not get one so she phones and then they say it will be later that day so I phone half hour before they close to ask what’s happening they now say that they are still waiting for more forms so the phone call results will be Monday. Great fantastic leave a family worrying sick. And don’t even notify your patients absolutely shocking doctors And the lady on the phone is so rude and arrogant to the fact that they should have explained the call will be another day. So slack. Leave a older lady and her family worried sick for results.

Moved to another surgery following consistent & persistent obstacles to service access.

Front of house staff regularly have demeanor of being coldly bored & disinterested, receptionist is rude, needs customer care course (or two).personally witnessed on several instances her chatting at length on non work issues w/ others including pharmacy staff.
Avoid this place!

This surgery is simply the best, my recent experience with Dr.Jackson, was so professional, and thorough, that it could not be exceeded anywhere. Time and again, the staff and clinical team deliver a service second to non. My wife and I cannot thank them enough, and are so grateful for all they do for us.

Very unhelpful doctors surgery. Got moved here 4 years ago after moving into the area. Whenever you ring they seem to do all they can to avoid doing anything…
