Parkside Medical Practice

Have always received first class treatment from all the staff. I just wish I could get through to reception quicker.

Receptionist today was rude abrupt.
Asked for all my details,, name DOB etc and then told me they were only seeing urgent cases. Not liking to give my symptoms to receptionists, especially rude ones, I did anyway thinking maybe I was wrong about her and she could assess the urgency. I said I had a lump on the side of my head that was giving me headaches. Her response to me was again, "is it urgent?". How should I know? It could be urgent or it could be benign. It's why I phoned up, to get it assessed. And because I had a "future" appointment already booked for the next day she said i wasn't allowed 2 appointments, which is nonsence, especially when I have 2 seperate things to see the GP about and they don't like it when you talk about 2 things in one session. She spoke to me like I was a child to cover her own inability to assess. Really it's 50/50 as to whether you get a polite thoughtful receptionist or not. I have had some nicer ones answer before but she wasn't one of them. I would go to another practice but there are few choices available and also because I have a regular GP there who now knows me and I don't wish to begin anew with another. They should be more selective over who they employ on the phones and desk. Hire folks who don't treat and speak to patients as though they're either children or cattle. Formal with no personal touch. Officious. It's a business at the end of the day and they don't try to hide it.

If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. This is literally the worst GP Practice that I've ever been to in my entire life!! Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere before registering here!!

If I could give 0 I would, terrible doctors they shouldn’t be aloud to get away with what they do, absolutely disgusting.

Moved to bulwell and had to move my practice. I wish I didn't have a horrid experience. Reception staff are rued and doesn't matter what you do it seems impossible to see a GP in person

Not sure why this practice has low reviews. I've had excellent care from here. Doctors, nurse practitioner and receptionist staff are incredible. I have been promptly seen and treated and received excellent care. Can't recommend enough for the bulwell area.

I moved here from Leen View. Been at Parkside for over a year now and never had any problems. They offer appointments in advance, they are open in the afternoon if the phone lines are too busy first thing and everyone has been really friendly.

It's not even an exaggeration to say that moving to this doctors has made my life a lot easier.

These doctors are an absolute joke I have rang for a appointment numourous times over different medical problems and get asked to call at 8am after I already spent half hour just to speak to someone every single time which I'm not able to do as I'm a single working parent that has to get my child to school and then get to work so I have to suffer and live with medical problems. I think I am going to join up with a new doctor.
