I’ve been with Brick Lane Surgery for as long as I can remember. Last week was the first time I had to contact the surgery since they merged to be East Enfield Medical Practice. Called twice, each time waiting over 30 minutes only to be cut-off when I reached to be the first caller in the queue. Called again today, again cut-off. I even pressed the option ‘health care professional’ only to be cut-off after waiting 20 minutes. I just want to speak to someone. Should it be this difficult? They advise you to go to their website to use Patchs, which doesn’t work. There’s no email address so how am I supposed to contact you? I’m disabled and in a wheelchair so going to the surgery would be very difficult and not really feasible for me, which they are fully aware of, so it’s extremely frustrating and annoying not being able to get through. If this is normal service, as a family we will now be looking to change surgery.

Please don’t register for this GP. Receptionists are really bad. The cover receptionists from partnering GP’s are much better. I have now left this GP thank God. Now I know how bad this service was there. Please just avoid this GP. I thought all GPs were bad until I have changed. I have so much bad stuff to write about. The appalling thing is GP’s DR Abedi and DR Qureshi nurse Barbara are brilliant but receptionists and management of the GP is absolutely rubbish. I still remember how they treated my dad. I was at this GP Practice nearly 20 years.

They should put the option for 0 stars or something like -5 stars because this place is so unorganized that I'm surprised they still open. I wish someone from big office would call or go there for an appointment or for a prescription so they can see how hard is to get one even if is such a simple easy thing to do. This old ladies at the reception had enough of life and they barely help at least employ someone that will care for patients because we don't go GP because we want to, we go because we have too.
Also I was on the queue nr 6 in the line and I had to wait 2 hour and 30 min for someone to pick up and give me wrong information, I had to go private because they don't do the job I wonder why do they still get paid if they only sit on the chair not picking up the phone or helping you at the reception.

Worst GP I have ever been registered to. If I could give it minus stars, I would. It usually takes over 1 hour for them to pick up the phone if you call at any time of the day after 10am. They are busy, yes, but I've physically been in their waiting room and heard how the phone goes off and no one picks it up. One of the receptionist I always have the displeasure of communicating with is extremely arrogant, both over the phone and in person. In the past I've had to go down in person about five times just to pick up documents for a family member who had had x-rays done for back problems, because every time I'd go down there, they always claimed to not have anything and would ask me to come back "tomorrow". For appointments they say they'll call you between certain times, and they call at other random points in the day. I was in a work meeting when the doctor called me for an urgent appointment I had made on the same day, and then refused to call me back – it was a Friday, I had a bad eczema flare up and needed urgent medication. The only way they get anything done is if you threaten to take action against them.

Don’t even bother wasting your time
Looks like Dr Abedi is no longer bothered about patients his more into business
Money over health, community reception only give appointments if you are friend or family of anyone working in surgery or “cash under table” report this surgery- Better be closed as no use in being open

LITERALLY THE WORST GP I'VE EVER BEEN REGISTERED TO!

Tried to get through to them from 8am till 6pm and no response! I went through the website PATCHS and tried over the phone numerous times but no one got back to me at all!!

I had the paramedics visit me due to my health getting worse and even they could not get through to this outrageous Group Practice! Going by the paramedics suggestion, my family and myself will be registering else where ASAP

WORST GP I have been to in this country. 2+ hours waiting on the phone. They never give an appointment. They always say my prescription repeat will be signed and sent to the pharmacy “this evening” once week later it still haven’t been done.

UNBELIEVABLE.

Appalling service. How difficult could it be to answer the phone? What benefits the surgery by making patients wait? One star is even too much for this surgery that doesn’t bother caring about their patients. Why does it even exist.
