Blaenavon Medical Practice

Unfortunately I had to use the centre while on holiday in Blaenavon. I initially spoke with the pharmacist who after a diagnosis recommended I see a doctor. She contacted the receptionist and I went to book an appointment for later that day. The doctor gave me a thorough examination of my chest and prescribed a weeks course of anti-biotics and steroids. I felt well enough to drive home a few days later, and although the holiday was a write off I was most impressed with the staff at the medical practice. Thanks to all involved.

The support I have received from the nurse Sue in the diabetic clinic has been awesome. Today I got the all clear that I had reverted my type2 diabetics.

Awful service. Receptionist and drs really let the whole service down. Receptionist act like they have a medical degree and the drs never bother to see you. No wonder they shutting down.

Having changed to this practice recently I would say it's the best doctors I've been to, the GPs, nurses etc are fantastic and so helpful and actually listen.

We speak english in blaenavon not Welsh iv lived in blaenavon all my life never heard anyone speak welsh it's a dying language and should be left to die

Everyone has an opinion relating to there owns experiences. Over the years I can't think of a single good one.

Blaenavon doctors are terrible All they do is send you a way and say its not ergent my hands and fingers are cold all the time it's the worst doctors ever

Major lack of appointments and ended up going private for my requirements. Staff not overly helpful. I personally don't use their services much.
