Lectures were definitely informative included anatomy of face ,explained about complications in detail. Lots of information to take in and very intense. Highly recommended practising on rubber models was good but might be better to try real person. We had a good observation of 3 clients with Botox and dermal filler what was definitely bonus. Well done Harley academy.
I can’t recommend Harley Academy enough if your thinking of a career in aesthetics. Mr Deneal Bassi was my first point of contact and he explained with enthusiasm but yet a certain calmness what the course was about. I had to think about it, as it was an investment that I had to be 100% sure about. After signing up I was a bit nervous truth be told. But that comes with any change of career or learning new skills. But thanks Deneal :).
Firstly I got the proper professional 1:1 training, enough to give me the confidence to carry out procedures by myself. Secondly their online learning portal was excellent which I still have access to. The 1:1 training is so important for building your confidence and getting to repeat the process over and over again so you really get it. The staff who work there are trained professionals, although with very different personalities, their end goal is to make you succeed and graduate so you don’t have doubts in picking up a syringe when injecting.
Most of my training was with Dr Kalpana who was was nice but tough and sometimes I would be shaking in my boots ( she probably never even noticed ;) ) but the seriousness of what I was doing was obviously crucial and the safety, knowledge and standards were all at play. I have to thank her for her straightforwardness when teaching me and making it stick in my head. I also had some training with Natalie who was great, but Dr Kalpana helped me build my foundation of practical learning which I value so much, so thanks Dr Kalpana.
Personally I will say the one thing I took away that’s stuck with me the most is safety. As a practitioner this is so important to know and I must say this was drilled into my head first and foremost. Yes this was scary BUT safety is what Harley Academy puts first, and this is paramount in this industry. Because of this I have so far not had any emergency situations, and this is purely due to the little voice in my head that says; check anatomy, aspirate and go slow. After graduating as a Level 7 graduate it boosted my confidence even more, to know I hold one of the highest accreditations in the industry. Was the Level 7 easy? No! But this is why you will stand out from the rest. So to end this I will say the money, time and effort was 100% worth it and to anyone out there looking to do a course or have a career in aesthetics don’t think twice about choosing Harley Academy as your number one choice, you just can’t go wrong. Thank you to everyone at the academy!!
Waste of time and money …. !
