Very disappointing. Transport was organised to transfer my wife from the Priory to meet our new born baby at a mother and baby unit. It was booked on a Wednesday and finally arrived Friday, Between the transport company and the Priory neither of them could tell us the same story, well to be honest, it never turned up ! we had to make the Priory transport her themselves.
They forgot her medication one night and she had to go and ask, On one occasion when getting her medication, the person who was handing them out in the medicine room dropped something and turned their back for a while giving her enough time to take extra tablets if she wished, some patients might of took advantage of that, my wife was on 15 min obs at that time.
After the transfer we realized a new bag we had just bought had gone missing, they said if they couldn't find it they would get a manager to reimburse us, i'm sick of trying to get that reimbursement .
Every time i rang the would say give us your number and we'll get a manager to call you back and never had a phone call back.

Would i recommend this place? ... No

after many attempts I feel this my only remaining option. I have spoken to the desks at every option on your automated answer phone options. We were even given a residential number to ring for information. Ironically the residential number we rang gave us a more concise answer than your staff

Strong elements of Discrimination, & unfair treatment of ethnic Minority staff within Management. You’re simply not going to be treated the same as your ‘white’ counterparts. I honestly wouldn’t bother applying to work at this hospital, if I was any person of colour, & would strongly discourage anyone else who might be thinking about it. It’ll be a waste of your time & you just won’t be accepted. The whole workforce is disproportionately poorly represented of ethnic minorities which says alot about the Management. Disgusting really this still goes on in 2019. I could name drop & spill all the unsavory conversations I’ve heard in those offices, however that’s not what I’m about. I’m about injustice & the unfair treatment of individuals based on skin colour, or any other form of discrimination for that matter. This hospital preaches ’fairness & equality’ but believe me all there is institutional racism within the Management & they don’t really like ‘outsiders‘. Sickening really!
Currently perusing legal action on the grounds of unfair dismissal & racial discrimination.

P.s General staff are lovely tho, not a single bad thing I could say about them.

It's Christian wilding. Majority of staff are genuine. Very helpful. The rooms on Cottam ward are very comforting. Double bed, desk, tv and on suite. The rooms are the best facilities in the hospital. Could do with more for in patients in relation to activities and getting patients exercising in which we all know is beneficial to a successful recovery! Some staff are very beutiful too which helps. Especially emily :)

Visited recently, one of the nurses on the ward Sophie G, so rude and unprofessional. Brings the standard of the priory down hugely. Cannot fault anyone else as usual.

Could not recommend this hospital more as a place of work, I have worked here for 8 years now, starting as student nurse and working up to Ward Manager. The company is fully supportive of career progression and is keen to develop and promote their staff, lots of opportunity for training in all areas.
