My parents in law stayed here whilst they came to our wedding, one of the main reasons being the site is advertised as dog friendly. The site is far from dog friendly, there is no grass and all dogs are expected to be 'exercised' in an actual pheasant pen, as if they are prisoners.
Although advertised as dog friendly, according to the owner it is strictly forbidden to leave an old, poorly dog to rest in a fully air conditioned caravan with full access to fresh water and food after he has been taken out on wonderful walks.
However, nowhere is it mentioned on the website or any other associated publications providing information about the site, instead (once he has taken your money) the owner will give customers a barrage of abuse, raising his voice and calling customers 'disgusting' 'the worst dog owners there are' amoungst other profanities that I will not mention. All because they 'had the nerve to leave their dog', again, in a fully air-conditioned caravan. Instead, the owner actually insisted on them taking the dog with them and leaving him in a hot car!
I would also like to add then when asked, the owner said he never heard a peep from the dog when he walked past the caravan, I could understand his verbal abuse a little more of the dog has been constantly barking and causing a nuisance, but he did not.
The owner needs to re-evaluate all of his publications and advertisements, you simply cannot scream and shout at customers who have the nerve to leave their dog in optimal conditions, if nowhere does it state dogs cannot be left for short periods of time.
