Wonderful tasting food and excellent service. We had all vegetarian options. The Kurmure Okra fries were perfectly spiced and would highly recommend. The Papdi Chaat was terrific I really liked the addition of crispy artichoke. The only reason why this is not 5 star is the paneer starter and the paneer main although currently described differently are identical, same sauce, same paneer texture and cooked in the same way, just presented differently. For the main you get 2 pieces of paneer and for the starter you only get 1. As we were sharing we got both paneer dishes and it was really disappointing that this was near identical. For sides the poppy seed and red Leicester cheese naan is a must try, it worked really well with the black lentil and kidney bean makhani. We had mocktails which were a good portion, tasted lovely and refreshing. I recommend and would go.

Our stay in South Kensington included a meal at Flora Indica contemporary Indian cuisine. Loved the themes and menu.

The food is tasty. The portions are small. The service is slow. The interior decor is nice and clean. The restaurant is quite noisy in the summer as they keep the doors open. The overall balance between cost and overall delivery is not correct. I will maybe revisit, but the restaurant is far too expensive to become a neighborhood hangout. They need to revisit the business model.

Hiya folks! It’s your silly American here! I just have to say this spot was INCREDIBLE. It was probably our favorite place we dined at. Not only was every bite a delight, the service was lovely. Our waiter was friendly and visited us a couple of times to check in. In Europe in general, wait staff takes their time so don’t go in expecting American service and don’t be a jerk. A woman next to us was extremely rude and didn’t want to pay her service fee. Read up on some European etiquette, chill out, and enjoy your food! The atmosphere is chic and gorgeous. It can be a pretty romantic spot so take your honey and enjoy.

Good food , but very small portions and expensive.
Horrible service!!!

Food took forever to arrive as people who were seated after us already received thier dishes.

Food finally arrived and was good, but dish sizes were minimal. A few dishes were too spicy for our tastes.

Ordered a cola, and needed to wait forever for it to arrive, until we asked to cancel the order.

When the bill arrived found out we were triple charged for the cola. Fixing it took the waitresses even more time.

Waitress refused to take out the optional service charge claiming she can not do it because the manger is not around.

Very bad service and expensive. Stay away

The food was both beautifully displayed and tasty. We had a wonderful birthday meal for my father, the waiter/waitresses brought out the dessert plate with a candle and happy birthday written on it in chocolate which was a lovely touch.

Run don't walk to Flora Indica. The food was so good and the restaurant so comfortable I wish I had taken more pictures but you should head there to see for yourself. We tried a lot of the menu and was blown away by the flavors. You can tell they are using the freshest ingredients. There was a steam punk aesthetic that was really fun. The naan was best I've ever had. The shrimp and the chicken and really everything I was fortunate to eat was literally some of the best I ever had. They brew their own beer which was nice and flavorful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautifully presented, flavourful, innovative Indian food. The balance of flavours is perfect and there are some really interesting dishes on the menu. Portions are small so don't expect to be able to share among a larger group (unless everyone is ok with just a taste). Atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and elegant, service is great. Cocktails are also fantastic with an extensive gin menu. Plan to spend a nice, long time savouring your food and drink, such a great experience.
