Masjid Al Noor Portsmouth

Alhamdulillah when desperately looking for a Mosque by the will of Allah i found Masjid Al Noor. Nice and clean. Main prayer hall is big enough for 500 people. Limited parking available. May Allah bless all the people who are running this beautiful Mosque.

Alhamdulillah got the chance to pray jummah here.both men and women can pray.people are friendly. Nice place for 5times salah and jummah and social gathering. One wonderful thing is people bring their children here.Masha Allah their innocent faces and cheerful notes gave me extra peace of mind . Entry gate for female is through the car park area.building is a bit old.Hope they will renovate the building soon.need donation /sadaqa for it.Jajakallah.

Masjid is clean with sufficient space for women as well, but it is slightly difficult to find it.
The surrounding area can be improved , there was a load of garbage dumped right across the gate of masjid .
Otherwise everything was good.

Please remove the video of child performing the Adhan… he is not doing it according to the hadiths (hands raised covering the ear). The level of disrespect shown to the highly regarded Muezzin duties is not acceptable.

Alhamdulillah, met some brothers with beautiful heart. All brothers have intention to follow Sunnah who attends prayers. Mosque has the environment and Imams are active. May ALLAH help us to fulfil the right of HIS sacred house with HIS guidance . May ALLAH grant us to thrive as Muslim community through the correct teachings delivered from this mosque and protect us from fitna and modern innovations. Ameen

This masjid gives really good, relevant khutbahs every Friday, very interesting to listen to, the Syrian imam is also very knowledgeable barik Allahu feek
