Nice and spacious masjid for the local community. Get here early for jummah as it gets really busy on fridays.
At the moment it is portacabins but the vision for the future is to build a more permanent building.

For Eid namaz and tarawi prayers during ramadhan they have facilities for sisters to come and join the prayers.

Todays attended for tarawi. I made ojju here and prayed.massallah. nice compact and simple. Facilities are standard. people's are 90% from Bangladeshi community. Very nice atmosphere. They have man and women facilities for prayer. A lot of women attended also. I saw women getting in out for prayer . peaceful.

It’s a decent mosque in a nice location opposite the park. The commitee needs to bring in an Imam who can communicate in English. No point having an Imam who cannot reach out to the much needed youths of Stepney. We need to get with the times, the Bengali elders/founders have all grown up now, the focus needs to be on the youths of today.

I normally pray jumma namaz here every Friday. The indoor seating area does get full quite quickly so tarps might be put outside to make more space for brothers who come later. This can get uncomfortable at times due to the weather but generally it's ok. Also I don't believe that this mosque has a women's prayer section.
Overall it is a simple and clean mosque but space is a bit of an issue.

A local community centre they provide A number of training courses and after school support for the the surrounding residential area. Also a mosque allowing people to pray. The facilities could be updated to better standards. Parking can be an issue if you go during the busy times.

Alhumdolila, with such a big space, finally the masjid is providing talks in English and my hope is that it is not only a temporary basis for the holiday period . It would be good and the would have been a five if only the caretakers of the masjid could crack a smile once in a while or be engaging enough and have better adaab, not welcoming at all. The recitation is typical of our Bengali masjids, and younger leading Imam raised in the UK is sorely missed in the masjid

Not very sanitary if you ask me. Skid on bowl of 🚻 🚾 🚽. In full disgust. I ain't having this. Abit overrated. This masjid member committee needs to question where their money 💰 🤑 💸 🤔 has gone towards. This has to be the one of the worse masjid I have been. Not as friendly as it was a decade ago.

Sandals are worn in the wadhu area. Is prayer even accepted if part of your body and masjid becomes impure.

The mosque management or the imam could easily implement cleanliness by putting sineage stating no sandals should be worn at wadhu area.

I have posted an exemplary photo with blue tiles from other
nearby mosque.
