Cineworld Stevenage

One of the first Cineworld Cinemas in the UK to have a screen/auditorium to be equipped with 4DX / 3D! 👍🏼 This is a fantastic but somewhat expensive feature. It really brings the film to life, with moving seats, strobe lights, scent, wind and even water. I definitely recommend trying this out for one movie at least, just for the experience alone, but pick the movie carefully.
This motion/effects work for most films but I did watch one where the 4DX did not complement it at all! Enjoy the ride. 😉

We went onsee TopGun Maverick in 4D. I would recommend this experience highly to all. Excellent movie enhanced by the sears moving shaking and vibrating perfectly in matching the action. Smoke rising from the edges of the screen matching explosion and fires on the big screen. Even squirts of water and wind blowing. Very clever and well worth it. My only complaint is the price of the refreshments. It's bonkers expensive.

Clean airy space, friendly staff. comfortable seats .parking close. Reason for loss of star: I am disabled with mobility issues. The only seats available to me were in the first/ second row - right close to the screen. Other cinemas in the area - Hatfield and Welwyn - have their disabled access seats at the rear of the cinema.

The 4DX here is amazing. I'm not sure if it's because the screen is smaller than most 4DX screens I've gone too but the smaller the better. I actually want to get dashed around and this one does it for me 1000000%.

Some of the other screens are quite small but good quality and the seats are super comfortable. Let's just hope the staff remember to keep them that way. Some seats were dirty but not like the cinema seats in London.

Standards gone down significantly over last couple of months. Pic n mix empty, never any brownies at the ice cream section, no bagged sweets and reduction of bottles drinks.. what’s going on? Much prefer St Neots Cineworld. Plus 4DX sound quality was off in Wakanda forever and no water.

Great since full refurb.
Imax screen is a little lacking... Louder does not equal better.

In need of a physio appointment after enduring 3 hours of that horrific heat and back breaking chair.

Absolutely dire in the lobby, sweets are just cheap quality and lucky to find a mixture between the 4 choices you have.

Couldn't knock the staff but I've honestly come out of there with PTSD, never stepping foot in there again.

Put me right off the cinema now 😒

Always a great place to go with family, friendly staff, boosters for my little ones if there is someone taller in front😀.
Love the kids boxes with popcorn, a drink and chocolate stars.
