It's like going back in time. Its very much how it used to be all those years ago apart from a few changes for the better. Most films cost £4 for admission which is great for if your a family on a budget. You can buy popcorn, nachos, bottled drinks, sweets etc here. The film's generally start on time rather than having 20 minutes of adverts beforehand. However if it's quite cold outside, it's usually quite cold inside too, so wrap up warm.

Absolutely love this cinema. It's old, retro and independent. It's just all part of the lovely experience of going to the cinema. The ladies are always really friendly. The food is dead cheap for drinks, sweets, bags of popcorn. Really very impressed. It's our little secret so I don't want it to get too popular but it's too good not to have about! X

Today I went there with my kids. I bought tickets and popcorn and then they ask me what I have in my bag. So I showed them. Bread, raw sausages drinks and beer, all for the bbq after, as it is a bank holiday and everything is closing early. I was refused entry because I had my own food. When I asked for a refund they didn't want to give me. Finally I got refund and went for the same movie to the light, where i have eaten loaf of bread raw sausages and 4 pints of beer with some kids stuff 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I used to support new century cinema cinema, but not any more. If you check all reviews, there is mo one answer on negative ones from owners. Only for the good one.

Went tonight. A lovely friendly place. Was very warm in there tonight though I think they would have put A/C on is we had asked. Will visit again. Great value for money xx

Love this place. It's old and full of character with super comfortable chairs and sofas to enjoy your film in. Never go to any other cinema, for soo many reasons this place ticks all the boxes for us.
