Wonderful cinema. Very comfortable and excellent sound. The food options during the screening are a nice extra to the experience.

Lovely old cinema in the heart of St.Albans. show a variety of films throughout the month so always something for everyone. Book as a group so you can sit around a table and enjoy your drinks from the bar.

First time here, booked in advance, shame there is no parking outside but only a short distance down the road, free if you attend after 6pm at the weekend. There was no queue to get in, helped to find our seats and couldn't believe how comfortable they are! Lovely touch having tables too. Spoiled for choice at the bar, chose a white chocolate and raspberry ice cream, heavenly. Hubby Loved picking the beers. The food platters looked fantastic.
Loved the personalised introduction and can't wait to come back again. It gave going to the cinema a whole new experience. Forgot all about Covid, felt very safe.

We had a great time here. The last time I remember going here was when it was the Odeon and I watched Bambi. The Odyssey is a great restoration with a great atmosphere of community cinema. The seats are great. The screen isn’t huge especially if you’re at the top back. But it was still good. We almost didn’t get in since it was almost sold out.

Loved it . Great seats very comfortable. Just need shorter people to sit infront of you when on a table of 4.

Love this cinema. Always friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Go downstairs if you want comfortable, swivel chairs with tables for your food/ drinks. Bar downstairs in the viewing area which is a big bonus.
Cheese platters are lovely. Would like to see a meat/pate and cracker platter too.

It's been a good 18 years since I last went to this cinema. And I can truly say I did enjoy tonights show. No time to die is a great Bond film and the surround sound system is truly awesome. Knowing where to sit to get every effect of true sound reproduction does help. Spot on for me, or as good as! Next time I'll try the ground floor. The Odyssey is a lovely art Deco style theatre and now serving food as well as a bar. I'm sure there's something for everyone in this cinema. Now I just wait for the façade to get finished and see the place in it full beauty. Mind you if they change it too much I may have to change my art project to match the new design.

Watch a film in style and comfort. Love this cinema. Worth waiting a little longer to see a film here!
