Love this cute, unique, independent venue! Such a nice change to standard cinemas. Great selection of food and beverages! Friendly staff and ample seating.

A great local cinema. We were not aware of the two for one Tuesday deal, a nice surprise. The ticket prices need to be a bit cheaper and I think thus would encourage more to visit

Great cinema, lovely large area to sit outside and have coffee and snacks, seating area inside is quite large and has a bar and seating upstairs. I had a cappuccino and you get a little chocolate with it, really tasty and very reasonably priced. It has two cinema screens and you can hire one out for private parties. It shows latest blockbuster films and also National Theatre live events and other unusual films like David Bowie Moonage Daydream. Brilliantly situated, in Rye up on the hill near the church.

Old fashioned but in a good way, a very good way. The staff are friendly it's clean with nice nibbles.
What more could you want.

Always enjoy a visit to The Kino in Rye! Lovely atmosphere, good range of refreshments available, friendly helpful staff and two wonderful spaces in which to enjoy film showings. What's not to love?

An old church turned into a cafe and cinema. Works well. The cake and food was really nice. Has 2 screens. The red room was much bigger than I thought. Cinema is London prices. About 11 quid a ticket. Nice staff.

1st time at the Kino Rye, always wanted to go to a kino!
Establishment was well layed out, clean and tidy. Good choice of drinks and food. It was good that there were very few seats in the cinema but!! I was expecting the sound to be much better and the screen to be a bit bigger. Would be better if the walls were painted a dark colour rather than white as the room is quite light which sometimes draws your eyes away from the screen.
If I'm totally honest- we probably wouldn't go again at £35 for 2 tickets.
