Cannot rate Steve highly enough, he completed 2 moves for me, one locally and the other into central London. Professional, courteous and efficient I was amazed how smoothly the whole process went with Steve and his teams assistance. I would not hesitate to recommend his services. Steve rescued us a week out from ‘moving day’ with a competitive and attractive quote; then less than a week later his team came to pack and moved us over two days. The guys were great; really thoughtful and considerate, polite and helpful. It is a stressful time but they really helped make it all go as smoothly as possible - we are really grateful and would definitely recommend.

I have used a few removal firms over the years and Steve Wood Removals is most definitely the best for many reasons. The communication from Steve throughout the whole house moving process was brilliant and I always received prompt replies to any questions. On the day of the move the team arrived on time and worked extremely fast and took extreme care in moving all our possessions. I would highly recommend this firm if you want good value, no fuss and a professional and friendly service.

Over two years ago, after my mother-in-law had died quite suddenly, we needed to clear her house as soon as possible. However, unlike most older people, she had bought a lot of new furniture and white goods in the couple of years before and at that time our adult son was looking for a flat and we were planning an extension. Not living in the area, we did not know any local businesses and I found Steve just by chance, and liked him when we met him - and oh boy, I'm glad we found him! He and his team have been fantastic - they packed up everything for us beautifully and looked after our items in storage carefully and securely, at a reasonable cost. They have delivered back batches of items on three different occasions during the period and transferred items between our house and our son's flat in the process. I could not possibly have happened upon a better removal, storage and delivery company, or a more pleasant and friendly team. Thank you Steve, and very well done.

Moved the wife's parents from Chingford to Dovercourt today. From the beginning Steve was incredibly accomodating with some last minute uncertainties & changes of plan. Price quoted was cheapest by far and, on the day, the service was punctual, efficient & friendly. Couldn't really fault any of the team that moved the in-laws & would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that wants "big" business quality with "small" business care. Will finish by saying "thank you" for a job well done!!

Moving is stressful for most people, but with these guys helping me, it wasn’t as stressful as I thought it could have been.

I had two moving dates.
The first date it didn’t start well & like with most moves problems arise, but Steve & Mike came through for me & in the end it all went to plan.

The second move which was the bigger of the two went to plan, there were no problems, just a lot of hard work!

In both moves they helped me move everything where it needed to be which was a great help. They went above & beyond & made sure everything was done before they left each day ⭐️👍🏻😀

Thank you to Steve, Mike & Jimmy for making my moves relatively stress free days 😺

My dear friend has used this company and thia ia hwr comments.
I used a removal firm Steve Wood, who was part of the Swan group of removers.
Please think not only once but three times before using this company.
They broke most of my furniture and paintings.
They ‘packed’ my precious pictures into a box without even a piece of paper between them.
Not only that, they damaged my furniture, by cutting corners with their so called packing.
My dining room table wasn’t even covered, until I asked them to at least put a blanket over it.
They were incredibly inept, and didn’t seem to have a clue about packing……
which I had paid for unfortunately!
Please do not use this firm.
Their insurance wants me to accept £900, and when I tried to explain that I’d had an extension of time, because of moving from a large 5 bedroom house and downsizing to a 2 bedroom apartment, this was granted.
Unfortunately for me I didn’t write down the lady who gave me her permissions name. This was disputed by them……
My furniture cost more than this to repair.
All in all, it was the most awful experience I’ve had to deal with.
Please DO NOT use this removal company.

So pleased with the service provided by these guys , they were prompt, friendly and so helpful , the value for money was brilliant . Would highly recommend Swan moving , thanks again Steve and team
