The prime time team were fantastic! Super professional, friendly, helpful, the move couldn’t have gone more smoothly and stress-free. The team even made it a pleasant experience. Can’t recommend highly enough! We will be using when we move in the future.

I had an amazing experience working with Prime time man and Van, the staff perform an high level of efficient and extremely professional. I highly recommend everyone to use there service for their positive attitude towards work and there ability to keep there customers happy. I did not go through any hassle with these guys working with them yesterday and I am unable to name any negatives during this as all was done as requested. Prime time were punctual and outside my property ready to move us even before pick up time ! They were brilliant could not be happier with the service they provided for us. No messing around, hard working and all at a great price.

My review must have the caveat that my two movers were charming and helpful. I do not blame them at all.

However after a recent move I would not recommend this appalling 'company' to anyone. I booked for three hours -- my invoice says "2pm" After a fine move of only 2.5 hours, with helpful movers, I was told they were unable to leave until the "director" (as if such a firm can have such a position) confirmed I had paid. He spoke to me, and claimed I had booked for two hours, and 2-5pm was my slot. The movers were commanded not to move from my front drive until I had paid additional funds for "lateness" i.e. running over from 2 to 2.5 hours. As I had no wifi in my new home to check the invoice, I was forced to pay due to what is essentially the coercion and extortion of the movers being forced to stay. After checking the "invoice" (no VAT number, unregistered company, insisting on cash -- presumably tax dodgers withal) I've found it makes no mention of the hours, the finish time, only the 2pm start.

We were given a business card of "Prime Time Man and Van" even though my invoice is from "Shift Man and Van" -- on one the director is listed as Adrian, and on the other, Paul. Either this is a tactic to divert criticism to a competitor, or some form of fraud. I paid my invoice to Shift Man and Van and my coercion money to Prime Time. If they are in cahoots, avoid both racketeers. Do not use either, unless you want "hidden fees" (hidden to such depths as to be borderline fraud). I do not worship Mammon myself, but clearly the "directors" of my rental "company" daily sacrifice at his altar. Avarice is one of the greatest of the vices.

What matters in these situations is not the money. It is the sense of justice. I wish my movers well, as they were lovely and forced to work overtime by their "director" who would not let them leave.

I would sooner recommend a lobotomy than this firm.

There is no option for zero stars -- be assured that the one star is given begrudgingly.

Avoid like the ongoing plague.

Because I read the the reviews before I made my decision, after a positive experience few days ago, I wanted to write one too. I arranged the moving house with Paul on the phone. He was very helpful. I was very stressed about the whole moving but two guys arrived on the day, Chris and Martin, made all easy and pleasant. They were very efficient, helpful and friendly. Even they made a good impression on my new neighbours that they told me they were very impressed with my movers. I hope I won't move in near future but if happens, I will use their service again. The highest level of service and care you could ever wish for. Staggeringly helpful, attentive, very personal and with the exceptional treatment I was given by Paul, who made such a huge effort to ensure that I was satisfied with the booking, he took time to double check everything with me and his driver Kojo was an amazing guy who arrived exactly on time, very carefully and methodically loaded my items, we had a fantastic chat on the hour journey, he was like a best friend I never met. He unloaded with perfect approach and a super friendly farewell to round off what was a very smooth and stress-free moving out. He literally relieved my mind of the emotional upheaval that is moving house and it is situations like this that re-affirms the belief that there is genuine kindness in humanity. Thank you so so much for this wonderful service you provided me that day. I have already and will recommend you highly to anyone who I know might need a man with a van. Your title should be 'Man With A Van With A Huge Heart'.

ALERT: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Sent 2 removal men who destroyed my landing trying to remove a piece of furniture, took an extra 2 hours as a result of struggling with that piece of furniture and then charged me for the extra time despite it being entirely the fault of the company, and damaging my property in the moving process. I should add: the removal men were well-meaning, apologetic people. The problem lies with the man who runs this company. I am currently looking into my options in order to claim back what I paid to this company.
