James Removals

The James removal team did a brilliant job. We had more than 80 boxes to move as well as two large size beds, one heavy cot and a small wardrobe. Everything went very smoothly. Could not be more pleased. Also, Gary did a brilliant job packing the fragile items. This was done very carefully and nothing got broken.
When they arrived to our new place, it was far from easy as the stairs are so narrow, with low ceilings. But they always came up with solutions when something did not fit.
All in all, super reliable, friendly and professional! A massive thank you to the team!

Having removal of my Worcestershire house and putting the removal furniture to my new flat into Kent, between five ‘Men’ all worked very hard. So helpful both ways, helped to put a large dresser into their lorry ( before no one could put it into the house, had to take out of a window! )and yet they take them out the door and put it back into a basement flat. They were enabled to make sure that I could have bed to sleep, after a few months in a sofa! They are an en excellent company, including Pam, Michael and 5 ‘Angels’ , so fantastic.

3 years after being moved by James Removals and dealing with the issues they caused it has now come to light that more damage was caused by them. The back of our large fridge freezer has been slowly dripping water via the overflow pipe onto the electrics and the motor. This pipe was knocked out of it's connection in the tank. How this has managed to not cause a fire is really lucky on our part. It has obviously been getting very hot as all the glue holding the protective cover has melted and has rotted the floor and skirting board. I am not in the habit of moving such large items and only by chance noticed something at the side of the fridge freezer that made me pull it out from the wall. If this had caused a fire and my home was damaged or we had lost our lives it would never have been brought to their attention that their incompetent removal men are not looking after people's property very well and not being vigilant in trying to not to damage items!
James Removals used to be such a lovely company to deal with, we have used them a few times before and could not fault the service. However, this last bunch of men have let them down big time.
They managed to sort out our initial problems and I changed my online review but I have to say that now I discover they've put our lives at risk my opinion has certainly gone down again.
Very disappointed but feeling very lucky to be alive.

I have only words of gratitude for this removals company and their invaluable help with a complicated, post -Brexit move from the UK to Spain.
Right from the outset, they were professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. They responded to all our queries, doubts and worries at all times both via email and on the phone.
We chose the service where a team came to our home in the UK and packed up all the contents so that they could be taken to Spain. We didn't have to lift a finger. The packing was done brilliantly and 'survived' 8 months in a storage facility. The team which came to do the packing was absolutely brilliant - they really knew what they were doing!
Moving abroad at this moment in time is already fraught with worry and stress. If you want 99% of that worry taken away from you, use this removals company. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering an overseas move. Thank you to all at James.

Thanks from the Gardiner family for a very low stress move in two days flat. Two guys packed up our four bedroom house on day one and a team of five moved it on day two. Very helpful reconnecting washing machine and helped restart a dodgy boiler. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken us to pack alone - thanks to all the team, really appreciated!
