The Little Removals Company

At my request the packaging, loading and removals was carried out over a weekend ie Fri, Sat. and Sunday. All the packaging on day one, loading the boxes in the vans on day 2. Loading the of the final house contents and transit to the new location (from Bristol to North London 2hrs plus journey) on day 3. The Company's leadman agreed at my request, because the weather became unsuitable, to delay the moving of the material and contents from the garden, garage and carport...
The removals team were absolutely splendid, they did work well and efficiently. They made sure the move for us was almost completely stress free. They managed the packing, the loading, the transit and the unloading just as they said they would. And what's more they coped well with the unexpected change of plans.

They got the job done and the team worked hard. However they weren't perfect...

1) They turned up late on the day, setting everything back.
2) They couldn't fit everything in so had to make an additional trip which obviously resulted in additional time and cost for us.
3) several things were damaged during the move, despite us taking great care to protect fragile items.
4) The sofas in our old house would only go out one way, my wife advised this but was ignored. For 40 minutes they tried, eventually heeding my wife's advice and getting them out (costing us time and money again).

Superb. Great days work from Rob and his team. The guys were polite, punctual and hard working. It was a complicated move from 2 sites into 1 and the guys could not have done more to help us. I have pleasure in recommending the company. Well done!

Highly recommended - Rich and Matt (I think from Cheltenham) came and did our packing and then our removal the following day. Both of them were friendly, professional and brilliant at their jobs. An outstanding, hassle free service at an incredibly competitive price, I will be recommending this company to family and friends.

Not happy with the service this company provided. We were moving from one business premises to another one about 10 mins away. So we could move most things on our own, we just needed a large freezer and a washing machine moved. I chose to go with a professional removals company to make sure they were insured in case of damages. Well... I might as well have gone to a man with a van. I reported straight away that a program dial on the washing machine was snapped off and lost during the move. Apparently that's not enough to investigate further and make a claim for this company. It took me ages to get a hold of the customer service that only told me that there is no proof that the machine wasn't already slightly damaged prior to the move and this is why the dial fell off and got lost. Even though they specifically asked me to write down the condition of the products they were moving!!! On top of that we had to pay for 4 hours minimum booking for 3.30 pm. The moving company turned up at 7.30pm absolutely knackered and of course they didn't need 4 hours to move a hand full of items down the road. And to be honest I felt so bad for the 2 guys moving this late and after full day of work that I couldn't even try to get my money's worth. All in all, poor communication, poor customer service and pointless insurance. And by the looks of the reviews damages happen all the time with this company but it doesn't surprise me when their staff are working horribly long hours.

1 Star is being generous - Awful company. Do not sign their contract, they are not honest. They were late for me and brought no equipment to move a piano, despite that being specifically requested. Took far longer than was necessary and then charged me extra for them being late / slow and incorrectly equipped. They then took cash from my account without my permission!!

Despite trying to reason with them they still wouldn't refund me.

Third time I've used the company for a move and they were brilliant yet again. Friendly, professional, efficient and careful with my contents. Kean and Toby were delightful. Would strongly recommend the company and I will be using them again in future!

We used the little removals company for a move and packing service and they were worth every penny. The guys were so friendly and efficient and took great care with our items. They made our move completely stress free - we couldn’t recommend them enough!
