The team at Removals For You were extremely professional, good value, superb quality, well mannered and most importantly, nothing was too much trouble. The team went above and beyond to get us moved in inclement weather. From the initial contact, to moving 7 days later, everything went like a dream. I would have no problem recommending this company.

This family business was recommended to us and we chose them because we needed to move a lot of items in a few hours
Nigel came over next morning and went through our requirements in a very professional manner, within a few hours we received a quote which was very competitive, we didn’t know at that time how much of a bargain it would be
Within a few days boxes and packing materials arrived and we started the packing, it was a struggle we had so much stuff
I asked them if they had a packing service, which they did ,they came and like a whirlwind did all the packing in a few hours
When it came to the day before completion they sent over the first van and loaded a full van of all garden furniture and contents of the garage, next morning at 9 o’clock another van arrived to start the removal’s
We had nothing to do but watch in amazement has the house emptied of boxes , a few hours later when that van was full another arrived to complete the removal
The amount of work they did to hit the one o’clock deadline was awesome
Then to our new home they sent the 3 vans and started the unpacking
They all worked to past 8 o’clock in the evening in pouring rain to finish the move
James was amazing and the main team player for us and worked unbelievably hard
Theresa, the brains of the team and joint owner with Nigel her husband was superb
This was the most stress free removal’s we have ever had
They provide a very professional service at a very affordable price

We could not have asked for more from them! Easy, no obligation/no pressure quote given at our property. Their quote was competitive with others received, but it was actually the way they seemed to look at everything carefully, describe how items would be protected, etc, that led to us choosing them over others. They safely delivered our three bed house's contents from East Yorks to a storage unit in Cambridgeshire, obviously taking care of all our items, and offering really good advice for keeping everything safe whilst in storage.

There seemed to be a really nice mutual trust, which was very welcome.

This was the first time we'd had to use a removals company and these folks made it as stress-free as it could have been. Thank you!

An outstanding company. From the initial enquiry all the way through to the moving day - we could not have got through without the help of Theresa and Nigel in the planning and execution of everything to do with our move - even all our packing materials got delivered early. Their supportive and flexible responses along the ups and downs of getting moved could not be underestimated. On the day delays and unforeseen circumstances that stressed us out were patiently and efficiently worked round and they got us moved. The staff on the moving vans are polite, caring and professional. Not one thing got broken or damaged from three van loads. The vans are well organised and spotless. I cannot praise the team at Removals for You highly enough - simply exemplary, I have no hesitation in recommending this hard working team to anyone requiring the services they offer. Would have been 5 star but for the aftercare. Overlooked a damaged item as they were so good but as it took us a while to find the remote for the tv, we found our spare tv to be damaged. In short , not interested, out of the 7 day claim period and passing blame to us even though they packed it. Not impressed with management but the removals team were brilliant, can’t fault them

Nigel and the team moved my Mum from the home she had lived in for over 50 years.
