The quote I was given was very competitive and policy insurance was included.
The only down fall for not giving 5 star is the lack of communication. And this is not to the fault of Alice as she did try repeatedly with her manager to get the arrival time to be confirmed a day in advance.
I was not given the time of arrival for the day and I had to rush to get to the delivery address.
The 2 men that helped with the move were very kind and professional and helped place the furniture where we wanted.
Our items were originally stored with them in 2019 and we were told we would have a key to our items and be able to access them at any time. This year we requested the address to view our items and we found out that they had moved our times without our consent and were refusing us access. They also refused any other removal company to remove our items to a different location and said only they could do it.
To remove our items they charged us a ridiculous quote of £2200 for a simple job. When the items arrived half were broken or damaged and not all the items were there. The company's customer service is horrendous and the business goes under several different names such as Kent Removals or Removals & Storage Solutions as well as We Care. It looks incredibly suspicious and this appears to be a fraudulent company. We have had no choice but to file a police complaint against this company. Do not waste your time and money with this company.
I wish I had read other reviews before contacting this company. They harrass and comment on peoples reviews to scare them into taking them down or change them. They stole £360 of my money and took advantage of me. I booked a removal service to take place on my final day at my studio and was not given any response through out the entire day as to when my belongings would be picked up. I should have suspected something was wrong when they asked for payment in full and called me repeatedly to get all the money upfront. Don't do it. You will not get the service you pay for. After no one got back to me all day and being made to wait till 10 o'clock at night with no movers showing up, I sent an email the next morning and was blamed for the movers not arriving. They tried to tell me that I was the one who cancelled the service over the phone with the movers. When I provided call logs to prove them wrong. There was no apology or admission of guilt. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The only person running customer service is Alice. She's purposefully vague and unhelpful and dodged my calls until I could contact them from a different phone. I am still trying to recoup my money and have reported them to the fraud department so no one else is hurt by them. Do yourself a favour and find someone else.
For the same move and same amount of time, I'm now paying much less with a reputable company. Thank goodness for good people.
