Ace Removals Ltd

I used Ace removals last week and they were absolutely outstanding. We moved from a 4 bedroom property in London to a 5 bedroom in Bristol. We used their packing service which I found very efficient and time saving. The gentlemen that came to do the packing were very kind and polite. On the day of the move the team of removal men came nice and early and got to work straight away. I am super happy with the service that I was given, right from the beginning when I called the office to the end. They made it extremely stress free, I highly recommend this company if you are moving.

We booked Ace Removals for our move last weekend and they were absolutely fantastic. Three lovely chaps moved a huge amount of furniture and we are still amazed they packed it all in. They were very helpful and very polite and it was a reasonable price too. My husband and I have moved a lot in the last few years and this was the best experience. Would recommend without any hesitation. Brilliant!

The two movers were late to arrive, and then blamed us for not having moved the boxes to the ground floor although it was their job. Lots of unprofessional complaints about how heavy the boxes/bags were, although we (young petite girls) were able to move them. One man in particular, Mr Singh, who was the boss, was extremely lazy and did next to no work in helping move the boxes. He had to gall to come up to our new apartment carrying nothing but a small plastic bag (which was not part of the things to be moved, but our own personal item) when there are still many boxes left. While trying to have a serious conversation with him about his service, he was completely unprofessional and did not take any of us seriously, even requesting to borrow a phone charger in the midst of our conversation (which I initially refused to which he replied "be a darling and look for one"). He wanted to charge us 80 pounds more than the initial quoted price as we had a number of additional items than we had originally planned, which we also acknowledged, but his service and unprofessional demeanour is absolutely atrocious. Ultimately, we only paid 40 pounds extra, but I would not recommend this company at all.

Good service, owner very kind and funny, was able to meet my needs in short notice. The guys that came to load the van worked fast and was carful with my goods, very polite and approachable, they Was done loading and unloading in less than 2hrs. Definitely will use this service again.

Agree with the other poster here. Was quoted a job to pack and move our stuff to our new home. They added costs to the quote and drove the van off, insisting we pay cash before we move if we want to see our stuff again. The packing was also not good quality (eg skimping on packing materials, packing cleaning fluids with food without securing the lids, using my clothing as padding material etc) even though the men were also nice and tried to help as much as they could. The removal men were very nice and did move us in the snow and took care to try and put stuff in the right place. But overall I can’t recommend this company, because they drove the van off while demanding more money we had to make a second trip in the car back to our old place to pick up stuff like the hoover and my bike etc. Stress we didn’t need. Best avoided in my opinion.

I am a single mother with three children with chaotic lifestyle trying to meet everybody's needs... I arranged to have Ace removals and then realised that it was on the wrong day. Doh!

But I did not expect those wonderful people to have my back all throughout. They got down to it without any panic, helped me pack, clear junk, helped me dismantle furniture and bunk beds, brought extra packaging and boxes and then another van with additional two smiley helpful men to help me keep it together and complete this. The leader took a list of additional items that I needed to cover in my quote without any hussle or blame he let me know that I made a mistake and we'll settle it later. They took my stuff in storage and I was left totally amazed how sleek they've made the whole process for me that I have been dreading for months.

This is a people business. These guys deal with people who are at their most stressed and probably experience a lot of stress themselves. I was so pleasantly surprised how they handled themselves (I can be annoying and disorganised and forgetful) and how they put me and my family first.

The guys who dismantled furniture has such kind nature that he calmed me down and totally helped even my own nerves calmed down.

I've moved house in London 11 times in 27 years and this was the best experience with the best crowd. Thank you! I will have a little bottle for us to share on your day off. What a lovely service in this such demanding service business. Exceptional. Highly recommend!

I had an extremely poor experience of using Ace Removals. I accepted their price after they came round to check what size van would be needed. On the day of packing I was told that a van twice the size was needed. This resulted in them doubling the price despite the fact that they had made the mistake. Upon arrival I found that the most expensive box was missing which included £850 of pans. They then told me that their insurance did not cover the pans - it would only cover the entire van being stolen or destroyed rather than the loss of individual items. After weeks of phone calls no compensation was offered.

Would highly recommend Ace Removals. They were very helpful in moving a very large deli fridge and helping us install it at its final location. It wasn't an easy job but they had no problem in overcoming the problems they came up against. Thanks again to John and Mr Singh for all your help. Will definitely use again.
