Greens Removals

We used Green's Removals for our relocation to California from the UK, and could not have been happier - really excellent service. Everything had to be done at the last minute, and Sarah in the office did a great job of taking care of it all and making me feel a lot calmer! Due to the time constraints, Green's arranged courier transport of our belongings to their warehouse, where everything was re-packed and shipped on. It all went smoothly and several weeks later (mainly due to infamous U.S. customs) our stuff arrived. Happy to report that everything was very well packed, and nothing damaged. Everything was made very easy for us - would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Absolutely first class service , the removal team turned up early and got on with the job enthusiastically and professionally , the office team answered every query we had , were extremely helpful and friendly. We can not recommend Greens removals enough .

We used this company to move from Surrey to Berlin in Germany. It was overpriced in comparison to German removal companies. However, we went ahead with Greens because they promised a faster turnaround.
The packing was substandard. A lot of our valuable glass and crockery got smashed because it was wrapped in paper only. Some were wedding presents.
On the day of the delivery in Germany it turned out that the team had no experience with Germany and it was their first job in Germany in years. The team was understaffed and two men had to do the unloading that is normally done by four (sic!) workers. I had to help carry heavy boxes to get the job done before the workers maximum allowed working time was up. This caused disruption to my life because I could not go to work. The agreed service of assembling our wardrobe and beds was not provided because of lack of staff/time. This caused us a lot of additional work and we had to hire a company to carry out this work. The subsequent insurance claim was very time consuming and is still pending after over two months with the insurer because Greens have kept ignoring the insurers request for information. Also our complaint about their substandard service and packing was ignored even though we wrote/called on numerous occasions. We find this behaviour towards paying customers appalling and cannot recommend this company.

Excellent quality of service. The team arrived on time, were polite, friendly and helpful. They were experienced and knew what they were doing and worked very hard to complete the task quickly and efficiently with a very positive attitude. The lorry was also well adapted with some clever kit enabling the team to carry the furniture straight into the lorry from our raised front steps without needing to go down to the pavement level. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic company, so helpful organising move day, couldn't do enough. Great experience on moving day, made it all feel effortless and fun. Cannot recommend them too highly.

Used Greens for removal and storage. Excellent service from start to finish. The whole team from admin through to the crew who loaded our property were really helpful and professional. You can tell that providing a top quality service is important to them. Highly recommended.

Great service by the entire team and ensured a stress free house move.

Using the packing service, a team of two arrived promptly the day prior to the move and packed the entire contents of the house with care. The following day a team of three loaded / unloaded the van and even dismantled / rebuilt beds.

The team worked incredibly hard and took care to avoid any damages whilst being polite and professional at all times.

We used greens many years ago to move just 400 yards in ipswich. When it went wrong because of our purchaser they helped enormously absolutely brilliant. The same can not be said for the second time we used them. Yes they helped hugely with packing because we were behind. But I am afraid that is where it ended. Many of our things were broken or damaged. Stuff had been packed on top of a table! The legs were all now loose. A brand new sofa still unwrapped had a foot broken off. Part of our bed was broken, the part was shoved into a draw somewhere in the packing. Countless things were damaged and wrong and the attitude seemed to be that it's insured so just claim for it. Rather than trying to do the job properly - it seemed that there was a complete disrespect for our possessions. This was 3 years ago I do hope they have changed since then.
