Took my father who was stationed here during his national service in the late 50's for a surprise visit. What a fantastic place! So many artifacts and information to see. The guys volunteering there are all ex-RAF with bags of knowledge and enthusiasm and we were made to feel very welcome. Plus, the lads made us what I would consider to be the best cup of tea outside of Yorkshire! If you are a RAF/history enthusiast, you will love this place. Thank you guys, we will definitely be back.

What an interesting place to visit and it is free. It is only open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some Saturdays. It is run by ex RAF personal volunteers and the knowledge they all have is well worth listening to. Our short visit lasted 2 and quarter hours. We are holidaying in the area but would definitely visit again if we came back this way. They survive on donations and we were only to glad to make one.

Volunteer run, small but with so much to see. Staff are excellent with lots of knowledge and passion. We were there for 3+ hrs.
Highly recommended a visit.
No admission fee, centre runs on donations.

Very good museum going through all the years up to date. No entry fee but we did put some money in the collection to cover our time there. Plenty to look at and read. Fantastic staff and basically gave us a guided tour today explaining about everything that went on. We'll worth the trip. Many thanks to the staff.

A great small museum, very well worth a visit. Showing the history of the RAF with various items on display, including missiles and bombs, even a nuclear bomb
