Wonderful place.Brings history to life. don't matter what your interest we have something to interest everyone. Open 10 3pm Thursdays Sundays and bank holiday mondays. We have Military, Royalty.Dracula.
How we used to live, with kitchen ware.Bathroom complete with tin bath.Old toys, Wind up gramaphone old singer sewing machines.Everything a historian's heart could desire. And after all that sit down and enjoy a reasonable priced coffee or tea, made exclusively by very own prize winning

What a fascinating museum. There are so many pieces of war memorabilia. This is excellent for any child studying war. The museum is only open on two days so plan your visit well!

I was there with my husband and lots of biker friends as we held a short service for the passing of Queen Elizabeth ll. The group that I was with was the Royal British Legions Riders Section and it was advertised as a Sunday ride and all bikers were welcome. There was a good turn out of bikes and riders and were very respectful in joining in our short service and the silence we observed for our late Queen. A pleasant time was had and riders went back home one by one after the service as they wanted.
