Very imformative staff who are fun and relaxed, not at all pushy or bossy. They let you take your time even on a tour and spend as long as you want. A historic water powered mill that is operational, you get up very close to the working parts so can see every detail of the mill in action. When i was there they also yad old bicycles being demostrated and the chance to take part in making apple juice from apples, how it should be made and taste! Has picnic areas aswell. This friendly and educational site is well worth visiting.

We booked a private tour as a stop off point on our car club rally.
Only a small place but the miller was very informative and answered all our questions about the mill and it's history.
A bit out the way but well worth the drive to get there.
The venue is closed over the winter months so check it's open before heading down 😀

We really enjoyed our visit and the tour and talk given by the guide. A little gem in lovely Cheshire countryside. The presence of coots with 6 chicks swimming around the mill pond was a bonus

Such an interesting place and the gentleman who gave the tour Chris was wonderful. He made it really interesting for the children and they had a very memorable visit. Great way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. Mill is small so is around an hour or so to visit. Highly recommended .

Just beautiful, the watermill is quite unique and the people there are really nice and informative. When we went there was a apple juice demonstration so you could taste fresh apple juice with apples harvested on spot and also a butter making one. People could see the traditional way of making butter and have a taste. Not to be missed if in the area.

A lovely place to visit. Check opening times, as the mill is closed though the winter months.
