An excellent museum showing the history of the local area, including the Lakenheath Warrior and the Mildenhall Treasure. There are short films and tactile exhibits as well as traditional displays. Well worth a visit especially as it's free (donations are welcome).

What a little hidden gem!
Excellent museum.
Free of charge, donations only.
It is well laid out, labelled and interesting.
The Staff are volunteers but are cheerful, friendly and well informed.
Not to be missed!

Just walked by and had a look out of curiosity. It's small but interactive. You can tell that they put a lot of effort and love into this place and I'm pretty sure that the building itself has some history too. The items are all local and the staff is very sweet. Admissions are free but donations of any amounts are welcome. I enjoyed learning a bit about the Mildenhall history!

I was met by Gary & Kay, who I cannot express enough how helpful they were. Gary went beyond helpful and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for that. He helped me locate a post card of my former home so that I could frame it. I am thrilled

Amazing upstairs display of the Mildenhall Treasure. A good range of other exhibits right up to 1950s.
