Absolutely lovely. A fantastic day outdoors walking around the grounds, with some gorgeous views. The Hall itself has some great exhibitions, and us free to enter, which is always great.

Parking was £3, and there's also a good park for kids to run and climb etc. Also a fantastic amount of dogs, wildlife and just a wonderful day out.

Great place to go for a family day out you can walk round the hall and see fascinating animals great for kids to learn. Outside the hall there is a garden to look round wildlife can be seen all around, The great trees of many years old are a sight to see towering in to the sky. Overall If you need to go with the kids during a break/ holiday this would be a great place, even if you don't have kids still a fabulous place to visit.

Wollaton Hall is a free to attend natural history museum unless there's a specialised exhibit on, such as the 'Dinosaurs of China' for which you have to pay. The industrial museum in the courtyard requires an entrance fee year round however.
The grounds are perfect for a day out, stroll the flower gardens or sit by the lake. As the grounds are actually a deer park keep an eye out for the roaming deer herds of Red deer and Fallow deer (Though please act appropriately around them and stay 5m away, ESPECIALLY if you have young children!).
Events are run throughout the year for people of all ages and backgrounds including outdoor theatres, ghost tours and car festivals.

A great place to take a walk or jog. The place is vast and peaceful. Can accommodate several large groups of people. A good area for kids to play and for pets to run or walk. The lakes are filled with swans, ducks etc and are ideal for bird feeding. The museum at the Wollaton Manor is another attraction at the centre. Great gift shops and it's free to all!! There are tours available at selected times which are paid but very informative. You're sure to find a place for solitude if that's how you prefer it or a place for all your friends or family to have a picnic.

Lovely mansion set close to the city centre. Massive grounds and an interesting museum. George the gorilla is a must see.

Wayne Manor! Batman Lives! A wonderful and surreal experience being in a beautiful and historical building. There are peaceful grounds surrounding the building and a small animal museum inside with a life size T-Rex too. Definitely recommend going for a walk as it's also accessible to the Deer Park.

A large and fascinating historic house was made even more fascinating on one of their hidden history tours. Julie was very friendly and informative as she took us from the top room that is usually used only for weddings down to the cellar caves where wine and drinking water pit is. The views from the top were great and we went on to the lower part of the roof. The kitchen area was interesting and it led us to the cellar passages hewn out of solid rock. Julie explained how the founding family could secretly listen to the conversations of their guests. We could also wander around the TRex exhibition and the natur history galleries. Well worth a visit.
