Last months before the Museum moves to a new location. Here at London Wall (opened in 1976) the experience is truly magical. The history of London from prehistoric times to the 90s. All the artifacts very well presented. A great visit for both adults and kids. Let's hope the new Museum site will keep some of the old charm.

Great museum about the history of London from ancestry til now.
Free entrance, donations are suggested.
Wide variety of sections.
It is distributed depending on the ages.
Still has a section of the original Roman arches.
Ideal to go with kids and anybody else.
Very nice staff.
5 stars

There is no clear flow to some parts of the museum & I think like it would be really easy to miss bits. The staff were friendly & they had some good pieces in there. They could do with making it a bit interactive for kids. Took a couple of hours to walk though it all.

We loved this museum. Very informative and filled with fabulous artifacts and scenes of times gone by.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in how London developed from a small settlement to the capital city we know today.
The staff were very good, greeting us and providing information and direction.
And its FREE!
Well done to the curators and staff for providing such a brilliant place to visit.

London has some of the best museums in the world and so many of then are free to boot.
This museum is well set up to tell the story of of London from prehistoric times all the way into the modern Era. Each section highlights major events, technologies, and traditions to illustrate the corresponding time period. The medieval section and the women's suffrage exhibits particularly captured my attention.

All about the history of London, very interesting and not too exhausting. Entry is free. Super nice employees. My favourite part was the (little) grime exhibition. If you're into music, especially rap, you don't want to miss it.

Very interesting to learn about the long and varied history of London all the way back from 400,000 BC. Free entry, and the museum has lots of different exhibits, including some interactive ones that kids might like. Went on a week day and was not too crowded but still a decent number of people.

Great free museum where you should give a generous donation to keep it running. Nice exhibits and interesting facts about early history of London. Enjoyed the presentations throughout the museum. Food is available. Remember to save extra time to visit the surrounding area that has the original London Wall and houses the Financial District. Enjoy!
