Very interesting place to visit, thought we would be in and out in an hour. I think we spent about 21/2 hours looking around and making parachutes.
Nice little cafe limited as it was early part of week but no doubt weekends and summer holiday season will have more choice.

Pre arranged a visit to see the newly located museum of the RLC at Worthy Down.
Well worth a visit , many excellent exhibits; friendly staff too.
Cafe a bit sparse with very limited food choices, nice cuppa though.

The "Warhorses at the Museum" event was brilliant and we love the new Museum which has a lot more room for a lot more exhibits.

This is a small museum telling a big story. It is excellent in presentation facilities, staff and access. I took my grandson and he was particularly impressed by the medals display and small artifacts. Admission & parking are free. There is a voluntary donations box but absolutely no pressure to use it. We did; we were so impressed and also able to do so. There are outside events days and I suggest you check the website if planning ahead. Our visit was a last minute decision and didn't see an outside event but will be coming back for one. Allow about 2 hours for indoors and a coffee.

Fascinating place to visit and free of charge. The museum tells the full story from the 1800s to present day. Lots of vehicles and non-vehicle artifacts. There is a good range of child friendly displays, activities and items in their shop. The volunteers are very friendly. I have been multiple times and my 3 year old has enjoyed each visit.
