A very detailed and informative museum. There are a lot of wax figures showing different clothing, events and equipment from past history with information on each display. There are no queues and you don't need to buy a ticket before hand. If you're interested in Military History, especially in the Royal Army Medical Corps, this is definitely worth a visit.

This is an engaging, small and quiet museum demonstrating the history of medicine in the course of military conflict. The artefacts are mainly relevant but not necessarily related to medicine, rather the medics in question. Overall a good couple of hours spent.

The museum is behind the gates of an operational barracks so ID and security checks are required to get in and photography is not allowed.

Excellent museum. Lots of interesting displays and exhibits charting the history of military medicine.
Some really interesting items.
Bit depressing, all the ingenious ways of maiming, and the no less ingenious ways of trying to fix the damages.
We spent around 1.5hours there, lots to read and look at.
Toilets available.
Car park at entrance to barracks.
The museum is free to enter and inside the barracks, so check website to what ID you need to show to enter barracks.
While there, you could consider Brookwood Cemetery, not far up the same road.

Quick visit today. Had to squeeze it in on this trip once I heard it was moving to Wales soon. Small museum but tracks the history of the army and medicine through time. Some nice dioramas etc. Well worth a couple of hours of your time. And it's FREE 👍

A well maintained museum with lots of information. It has a surprisingly large collection of memorabilia / artefacts. Kids were entertained for an hour. Definitely worth booking a visit.
