Lovely little place to see a part of history.

Located in the middle of a housing estate so a little difficult to find, And no amenities near by, so just bear this in mind.

Once there, their is parking for approximately 2 cars, and then extra along the road of the estate.

The ruins are set in a nice little garden area and very well presented.

A lovely place to visit if you are staying in or passing through Prestatyn.

A little part of Roman history in the middle of a housing estate who ever knew .
It's worth a look around and it's free .
This is a big part of Roman and North Wales history.

Site of Roman Baths, with an interesting information board explaining what each room was used for. Signposted to provide directions to the site.

The Roman baths is a great trip to get out of the house, it has ruins of a Roman bath house. However if you want to visit from now till November 22 it is being refurbished the work will include: new information boards!
a wildflower garden and will have work shops for local schools. As a history lover I love the baths , I personally think it's a hidden jem🙂. I would like to see a wheelchair friendly aces to get down the steps into the baths ruins 🤔 I would definitely recommend if your a local or a tourist!

This is a great little piece of history to stop off at if you're nearby! There's an information board to tell you all about it, and it's a really unexpected little treat, tucked away in a cul-de-sac like that! But don't make the journey from far away, just for this, as it's even smaller than you might think; unless you're specifically very interested in Roman ruins. And if that's the case, though it's entirely modern, why not visit the nearby Roman Helmet sculpture, also in Prestatyn!

Quite a compact site but very interesting. We took our daughter as she has a real interest in history and digs, didn't find any Roman bones though 😉
