Usually only open one weekend a year in September, it is a wonderful visit. The Hetty Winding engine is fully working and is maintained by a group of committed volunteers, who will even let you have a go working the engine! Some steep steps up to the building so sadly not accessible to all.

A hidden gem on the outskirts of Pontypridd. The Hetty Winding House has been beautifully preserved by the volunteers. I would definitely recommend a visit on one of their open days.
