An interesting hour or so. The children really enjoyed how interactive the exhibits were and took the time to listen and read them. The play area inside was nice for young children with blocks and puppets.

Plenty to see. As it was the hottest day of the year, didn't spend too much time outside! So much information to take in, it would be better to visit more once and spend some time reading the display information

Such an interesting place, well worth a visit - great exhibitions, a large number of interactive exhibits on a variety of topics, archive footage of swansea and other places. Fascinating models, full size exhibits and works of art. A community garden... Interesting on so many levels and it's free to enter!
Poor signage to find it on foot from the park and ride bus stop but that's not the museum's fault. ( we had an interesting walk round the marina when the museum was actually quite close to the bus stop!)

It was great to learn about Welsh industry and innovation over the past 300 years.
To also see these innovations was also something impressive in my opinion.

Great place to be, nice architecture, great artefact, loved every moment.

You don’t need to buy tickets to visit this place. Good place to visit in Swansea. Can gain more knowledge about industrial revolution and the history of UK.

Extremely interesting, well presented & informative museum covering Welsh history. Staff very friendly and helpful. One way system in operation because of covid restrictions. We spent 3 hours exploring and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend. Free entry, just book free tickets online

Visited the museum multiple times with the family. Went over the Christmas period and done their Christmas trail, which the kids really enjoyed. Plenty of interesting items around the museum with lots of rich history. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Plenty of parking available close by too in St David's car park and free on a Sunday. There are also other car parks within walking distance.

There is also a nice cafe on site, which sells coffee, tea, cakes, sandwiches etc. With plenty of seating.

Free entry to a nice museum to amble through. We were meant to book ahead, but if you haven't booked they let you through at the door anyway

Staff were friendly and helpful. Will admit it wasn't the most exciting museum, but there was such a variety of things there's something for everyone to have a look at.

It's not exactly a day trip, but worth a look around if you have a spare couple of hours, considering it's free entry anyway.

Do note the furniture on the second floor doesn't fit people of all sizes 😉
