We purchased a full size violin for our daughter in December 2020 and have recently taken the violin back for a service and new strings. Both times the service we have received has been exemplary. Tim restored a Paesold cello for me recently that was years old but still on its 'factory settings'. He replaced the bridge, strings, soundpost etc and gave me an approx valuation and insurance advice. She sounds like a new instrument. I didn't know I could sound like that when I play! The workshop is beautiful and he's a mine of musical info and knowhow. Highly recommended.

It really was a pleasure to be at TA Craig yesterday. It truly was one of those days in one's life where I felt like I altered its course for the better by finding and picking out my cello.

I had played when I was younger, but let it drop for 10 years after university and moving to the UK from the US, I never could bother to bring my cello over. I finally resolved to buy one over here, and I'm so glad I found TA Craig.

Not only was Tim flexible when I called without an appointment on a Saturday, but he also made me feel comfortable in the shop, and as though I was his main focus that afternoon (even though he was juggling other pre-arranged appointments).

Trying the cellos out and finding the *right* one was a truly memorable experience, especially in that historic building. I feel totally comfortable about my selection and how the entire transaction was handled. Tim is humble and let's you come to the decision yourself. I also feel like I've established a relationship that I can leverage for care/repairs etc.
